ADT-LINK M.2 Key M NVMe External Graphics Card Stand, and a GPU. The graphics card plugs into the NVMe and the PC has to boot from a 2.5" SSD. You need a power supply for the GPU and one for the Mini PC.

@@woodchucker i used the m.2 port for wifi as the nvme is my OS. sady it doesnt work. I think its a dell FW. it sometimes pops up but then it stops. I just bought the minisforum um780xtx this january and assembled an oculink based external setup. Working so good. Thanks for the reply

​@@michaellagamon I have a 3090 i5 10th gen I took on trade for a laptop. Looks exactly like the one in this video. Bought a GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1650 D6 OC 4G and the ADT-LINK yesterday for a good price thinking I could get it to work but now you have me wondering if it will. I fix laptops and resell them but this is my first desktop venture. They recommend a 300 watt power supply for the card too so that will be another expense. Time will tell I guess:)

@@woodchucker i think the problem is with these small workstations from dell as they somehow have their firmwares locked. the dell optiplex 3080 micro i have is good for a backup workstation though. 6 cores 12 threads. the oculink kit i ordered from china is packaged with a 500 watt platinum server power supply which is quite small. i bought a 1660Super with 6Gb ram and loved my setup. i use it for 3d design and rendering. The mini pc i bought has a Ryzen 7840HS. This is worth every penny.

In chinese It has NGFF to RJ45 which you can install in VGA port so by remove VGA port check it out on tabao.

why does the hdd changing from Kioxia to Kongston? The package says Kioxia but you use a Kingston with half capacity

What is the maximum 2.5" ssd capacity for this pc? Manual says 1tb maximum 2.5 hdd but there is nothing about ssd. Is it possible to add for example a 4tb 2.5" ssd?

I think 1tb means the maximum size that was an option when ordering new. I can't imagine there being a storage limit I don't even know how that would be possible - except really old computers with legacy bios.

Buy a off lease used one at a fraction of the price. Keep it clean and proper airflow they should last a decade at least.
