SHE'S BACK!!! The eurovision season has begun! WOOHOO ☺️ also Merry Christmas! 🎄❄️

I know objectively the song is maybe a little generic, but Nina’s vocals hit me in just the right way where I’m actually in love with this - this, combined with Albania’s entry (Zjerm by Shkodra Elektronike) that just won FiK, is easily the strongest start to a Eurovision season in a long while in my opinion.

@wilyriley_ I couldn't agree more. Both songs made it to my playlist instantly.

Regardless of their eventual choice and all the controversy about the actual winner, Montesong was all about getting to hear Zauvijek Moja like 20 times in various acapella sing-along sessions in the greenroom :)

Welcome back Rachel! I would've preferred more instrumental variation on this track but her performance is quite good. Hopefully you'll enjoy Albania's track more because I really think it's a fun listen.

the best way to describe it for me is "it's fine". nothing revolutionary but not the worst thing in the world. I hope at the very least they change the staging drastically if a revamp isn't gonna work out. Also I can't wait for you to react to Albania's song

Welcome Back! Merry Christmas! A fairly decent entry which has a certain chance to sneak through the semis, it's not as DOA as some might think

Yay, you're back 🤩 One of the highlights of the season! I think Dobro Dosli's a solid piece, but it does lack something, indeed. It also sounds like so many other generic ballads at ESC, it probably doesn't have much of a fighting chance. Fingers crossed for a revamp, and it's good to have them back regardless. (6,5/10) Il-Milied u l-festi t-tajjeb!

01) Albania 🇦🇱 - Zjerm | Shkodra Elektronike : 8,75/10 02) Montenegro 🇲🇪 - Dobrodošli | Nina Žižič : 7,7/10 = Nina is a very strong vocalist, she chose a song where she could use that and I'm glad she's back. However, while the song conveys the emotion well, it's a bit stale in my opinion. I think that presenting things that have been tried many times before without any additions spoils the fun of Eurovision a bit. Still, I can't say it's a bad song, at least I can sit and listen to it. I think it has a low chance of making it to the final, but if it can pull it off with an impressive staging, I think it has a very good chance of making the top 10 in the jury. Welcome back Montenegro, and welcome back Rachel!

🎶😴🎶 It's really a Shame that Neonoen drew back their Participation over that Non-Issue. 'Clickbait' certainly had it's Flaws (primarily the Chant-Chorus without an actual Chant by the People on Stage), but it was intrigueing and drew you in. With some Work and an interesting Staging that would have expanded on the Ideas of that Staging of the Pre-Selection, it could have easily qualified if Montenegro would have been fortunate with the Songs picked. With this... I have honestly no Idea how this is supposed to qualify in Televote-only Semifinals. The Song starts of boring, remains boring, and just drags on and on and you are glad when it's over. This is not about me not liking Ballads - I'm not a Ballad Guy admittedly, but if it's done well, I can appreciate a good Ballad - I still listen to Grito and Veronika from ESC 2024 and still to Once Upon A Dream from "Unser Song für Liverpool" (German Pre-Selection 2023). But this... ew. When this NQs and everyone and his Mother will be talking about how "Clickbait" would have qualified, I'll have my "I told you so"-Moment of the Year.
@sav000118 күн бұрын
Not many will be talking about Click Bait because Click Bait was not a fan favourite, Nina's song was. 95% of people are very happy she is going instead
@nick380516 күн бұрын
@@sav0001 But let's be honest: Why are ESC-Fans happy she went? Because the Song is good or because of Igranka?
@brunofaria844715 күн бұрын
I totally agree with your review. It just doesn't sounds authentic to me. It is almost as they are trying to convey the song as very emotional and dramatic when the melody is just kind of flat and not very memorable.
@zanneoxfr326519 күн бұрын
I think the construction of the song isnt very great, it lacks catchyness and momentum, but it does have a lot of potential
@Jatzki19 күн бұрын
I am so bored listening to this song. There's nothing going on that's interesting to me. Only saving grace is the amazing vocals.
@idraote19 күн бұрын
The singer is good and puts her soul into it, but the song is objectively plodding. I suppose a radical revamp could improve it somewhat, otherwise it is not going to pass its semifinal.
@stevieboy66619 күн бұрын
Montenegro actually had some interesting options this year, including the winner of the National final (that’s a different story) with a sort of indie rock sound and another very strong rock entry which came 3rd so I’m quite disappointed we’ve ended up with another average Balkan ballad being sung by a singer far more impressive than the song 🤷♂️
@williamdacic19 күн бұрын
Hands down Darko Dimitrov's worst Eurovision song. Which is a shame because Nina is incredible. Why didn't she chose something similar to igranka instead of this chorus-less drag?
@sarahenchanted19 күн бұрын
Nina handled it fine but Darko probably had this sitting in the drafts and just threw it out to her
@helidon58319 күн бұрын
Merry Christmas, happy to see you again! Composer Drko Dimitrov carries the whole of the Balkans on his ahoulders in Eurovision, I guess - but why oh why this boring, to the point of being annoying, song?! Nina deserves a better song than this drab, tired and depressing piece that goes nowhere.

Because dubstep is outdated and belongs in 2013.

@daveclayt8516 күн бұрын
Yeah this is a really dull start to the season. I like plenty of ballads but this one is utterly predictable in its chord progression and uninspired in its melody. Won't qualify, which is a shame cos #breathewasrobbed

It could be a surprise depending if they have Balkan neighbours in their semi with it being only televotes in the semis and then the juries may go for this in the final but I think it’ll come down to semi final draw next month.
