I have mentioned the cab service company I have used and the other details which I have used.. but whoever I have mentioned were the services available. It is always best to check from ur side before booking. We have booked and used their service and it went well.

@@saravanann6652 Sir, As far as I know,In Kedarnath, VIP Darshan allows devotees to have special access to the temple, but touching the Shivling is restricted after a certain time of day. Before 3 PM, pilgrims can touch the lingam and perform rituals such as Abhishek with ghee. However, after 5 PM, even during VIP Darshan, touching the idol is not allowed, and devotees can only offer their prayers from a distance  . But, I am not sure about it, as I dint experience that!!!

Do we have to specify date of trek while registering for Kedarnath? Would be going from Chennai so is it OK if I miss Kedarnath trek date just in case and climb next day or something

You have to specify the date for the Yatra registration. Would also recommend to be on the specified date to avoid confusions. If one day after may be fine I guess.. planning ur date of travel prior and do the Yatra registration would be better…

Bro, We booked with Bizare Expedition. The package was for 5 days for both Kedarnath and Badrinath which was for Rs.17500 which have covered Day 1 - they picked up from Haridwar Railway station and dropped us at sonprayag and the cab and driver will be waiting there at sonprayag. Then second day we trekked up and returned on third day afternoon and 2 days for Badrinath. And they have to drop us on 5 th day back to Haridwar… This includes the driver bata and everything. You don’t need to pay anything. But if you book only for Kedarnath you would probably get around 10k for 3 days. Approx charge per day for cab is around .. Rs. 3500.. for a pretty comfortable vehicle..For confirming the booking we transferred 2k advance. But they followed up properly and the driver was on time too.. If you need you can contact Mr.Chandan on 7533880954 and know about the packages. Even they have packages along with stay and food. But we opted for only cab service.

Yes brother.. you can if ur flight and other travel are booked respectively… but at least 5 days ok for back to back trip.. check our itinerary. But what I suggest is.. Kedarnath weather is unpredictable and Rishikesh to Kedarnath road condition is also… neriya.. landslide aagum… we almost waited for 2 hrs in one place and in other place almost half an hour because of traffic.. so have one buffer day and plan ur return tickets.. for safe and contented trip experience 👍

Hi, The same to be followed.. like u can avail cab directly from Dehradun.. u have to come via Rishikesh only ..it’s hardly 20 km from Dehradun . If you are opting for bus , there are buses available from Dehradun to Rishikesh as well to sonprayag. The same goes for the train. But from Rishikesh… u have only 2 options - either by bus or by cab.
