Hello! Is there a way to control the delay parameters with an expression pedal? Example: a delay is set to a simple, short delay and then change the parameters to make it longer with one tap on the control or expression pedal?

Had to return mine. Would not even boot up? Just flashed the lights and back out. Then I thought try firmware upgrade and that stalled and the second time a little more. Then it now turned on but sounded bad so returned it. Had high hopes watching all the videos and the specs it had.

Is there some trick to add a compressor? Can you place the pedals wherever you want in the chain? For example, can you place delay or chorus before distortions?

Hi. Yes, you can place the compressor before the OD/Dist section by placing it first in the signal chain. Or you can use the 4 cable method to place it before the modulation fx section.

@@iamironsam Sorry, there's no compressor in the Cerberus, so that's not possible. You would need to add an additional pedal to the signal chain.

Really nice video, about the IRs there’s a correct sample rate to load in? I have a torpedo, so if I could ir with the same sample rate that match with both the units would be nice!!

Thanks for the question. According to the NuX site, 24bit/44.1kHz 512 samples are supported. Haven't used the Torpedo so I can't comment there. Be sure to subscribe to the channel. Imma a big time NuX nut here.

The Pedal Guy torpedo operates with 48khz and 96khz, so if I could buy IRs that i can use with both units would be nice, but... Well let me extend this conversation, actually im thinking buy it for portables reasons, im thinking about busking, and I need a pedal needs to be portable and 9v, because most of power tank battery for pedal is 9v, and after research a lot i ended in the cerberus, but to be honest not have a real clean bother me, and besides of it, to me this stocks irs are to muffled , i was thinking about buy some Celestion irs to use with, but I don’t want to spend some money and regret buying it later, I’m thinking use it straight in a bose s1 pro, that seems to be a good PA for my needs. And im afraid that it sounds bad after all. Would be nice to have how much information as possible about this unit. I have also a tube amp rig that i use for band situations, and I could also use in the 4cm. It’s it, im glad for you previous answer about my doubts, but you will help me a lot with any information that you have. Thanks man!!!!

Hi in the manual it reads "full midi implementation" but there is no further information on midi control. Can you control external gear like a strymon device via midi from the cerberus (midi PC and CC change)? If so, how?

Hi. There is a way to do this via MIDI. I will see if I can find any additional info. At some point once the studio is redialed in properly, we might try to do something a little more in depth with MIDI and the Cerberus.

Thanks for the detail info about ir response loader. Btw, I download the midi implementation chart on nux website, but it contain only midi control cc for midi in. If only you can confirm that cerberus could sent midi cc messages to control outboard gear.. i will buy it right away.. 😀

@@adhiwisnu It has MIDI *out* but no *thru* This means it could probably work as a MIDI controller in a limited way, but you couldn't have MIDI signals passing from a MIDI controller into the Cerberus then to other MIDI pedals. Line6 M series are the same. If you can figure out how to use it as a MIDI controller I'd be interested to hear your findings. Also, there is a NUX Cerberus user's group on Facebook, that might be the place to post that question.

It's not "full" - because of no MIDI thru. However, If I can use this to control a couple of my MIDI pedals (Source Audio Nemesis, Vertigo, T-rex Replica, Line 6 M5) it'd make life so much easier and I'd consider using the Cerberus fulltime, instead of just a quick option for grab 'n go DI, if I can't use my amps.

I put cerberus in FAC mode and connected with usb, I changed lots of cable and kind of mac: one time only it could be recognized and I did firmware upgrade. Successively same updater and Cerberus app too don't see any device, so I can't proceed with settings, IR, etc... (data usb) cable becomes hot, what can I do?

Hi Pedal Guy.......just a quick question......When you are using the Cerberus......say you wanted to do a solo with a band live but need to get a little extra boost to sound louder......can you use the CTRL button set on the "boost" setting and use it to boost the volume for soloing?? Thanks in advance!

Hi Tony. Thank you for your question. Yes you can do this. The CTRL switch can be used to activate the Boost. We covered this in our four part Close Up series on the Cerberus. Have a look on our channel for this series. You’ll learn just about everything you’ll want to know. :)

Ok cool! Is there any reason why it wasn't included in the video's? I mean what an important function especially using this pedal for live settings where you don't want to be tampering with the nobs while going in and out of lead sections! lol So just to make sure......the distortion pedal can be activated...as well as the overdrive (to create whatever sound you want) and then in the middle of playing, you can hit the CTRL button (that is set for boost)....and you can get up to 20db of louder everything for your solo...??

Just wondering, but is it possible to use the software editor to edit the presets to set the tempo for each of the presets on the bank? E.g. Bank 1 - Preset A at 145bpm and Preset B at 155bpm

Hang on - it looks like when you are in preset mode you can't use the tap switch as a tap tempo. It's for changing presets

Is this rather a preamp to connect to your FX-return or does it belong in front of a clean channel? Is there a poweramp emulation available before the IR-section, like the Mooer Radar offers? What's your personal opinion about poweramp emulations? Just a gimmick?
