just coming back a few hours later to say that this was the missing element of my pedal board!! I previously had wah > tremolo > boost > fuzz > delay > vibrato > verb. I had played around with many different orders before but nothing ever clicked like it did this time with my drive and fuzz at the very end. Its also the first time i've ever had all my pedals on at once and it still sounded cool.

Yes, Stefan! You know… no one ever talks about how delay repeats after a vibrato pedal turn it into a chorus effect. And I don’t want a chorus effect. But putting vibrato AFTER delay keeps the vibrato intact! Even more so after reverb, too! I just got a Walrus Julianna (stereo vibrato), so now I can finally achieve the above on my stereo pedalboard. 🙌🏼 Btw, you should edit the title of this cool video. Something like “…Using vibrato after delay and reverb.” Or something like that. :)

The first time I heard the Disintegration Loops (TDL IV especially) the margins of my understanding of "music" ....disintegrated. Sorry. But for real, TDL was a sonic awakening for me, and TDL and his other works continue to inspire (and humble) me with every listen. I'm catching his performance of TDL with the Chicago Philharmonic in February, and I couldn't be more stoked on it.

Very nice - I'm a big fan of Bacinski myself, brilliant! Quite an interesting set up in regard to tone - yes, I believe you've nailed it, but, if you accept my humble suggestion, you will need a looper to capture the slow, gradual disintegration, which Bacinski so brilliantly does. After your set up, I would add something like a TC Triple Delay or a X4 looper, which does it quite well (or, better, a Boomerang III, if you can get your hands on one). I've heard people do this via Ableton, which works great for looping (off to digital we go.....). Again, excellent set - loved the tone! Will try it myself (with a Warped Vinyl in place of the Fairfield). But would be even better with a looper set to slow, decaying loops of sound. You can spend an entire day just drifting within the layers of sound...very addictive.
