The answer should be NO. Officers should have access to "hands-free technology"

I'm really curious if they are still allowed to use a handheld cell phone while they have someone detained in the vehicle. It's super unsafe in the first place but forcibly transporting someone while you're distracted driving is crazy. And as someone else said, hands-free devices are a thing.

Are officers allowed to smoke cigarettes on duty

Is it also true that because they have this privilege that they will abuse it as an excuse to be on their phone? Too many people have witnessed cops abusing their power and breaking traffic laws. This has to change. They need to set an example for the public. I’ve literally seen cops flash their lights while waiting at a red…drive through the intersection and then cruise casually along. We don’t believe your excuses. Too many bad cops have made us lose trust in what you say. The majority of us believe that either immediately or with time, all cops become privileged because of all the “acceptance” that they have from the law. Sorry bro

I have been driving longer than you have been alive. The idea that your "training" gives you the ability to do something i can't is BS.
