I have great faith in this systematic method you use here to help us get the correct pronunciation. The method also helps me to increase my ability to speak faster when reading a familiar text aloud. I struggle with my own patience, but I am inspired by watching you complete the exercise and constantly give me the right amount of time to repeat after you. When I get to the last part where we read the whole text together I get a warm feeling of happiness. This feeling of mastery makes me very grateful and happy. Thank you very much Dylane

Great video, Dylane. Your pacing is excellent and easy to follow. I have some questions--Why in French do we say DES bottes, but DE gants and assez DE vêtements d'hiver? I'm confused since gloves come in pairs and clothing is plural. Thanks for your guidance.
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Жыл бұрын
Des and de is very confusing :) Des bottes is an article. De gants is because it's after the negation. Assez de is an adverb of quantity so de never changes and de is a preposition in this case :)

In Italian I think the English word, "shopping" is only used when shopping for clothes, but I think I've heard that in French, "shopping" can be used when shopping for other things also, such as household goods. Is this correct?
