Kang has no powers so to speak, but he's from the 31st century and thus has knowledge and technology a thousand years ahead of us. It would be like a modern-day Special Ops soldier going back to the Middle Ages with all his present-day gear and knowledge. All the powers you seen him use in this movie came from his future-tech suit.

I've had a blast watching the Ant-Man films. I absolutely adored Alice in Wonderland, Barbarella, Dune, Flash Gordon, Heavy Metal, Honey, I Shrunk the Kid, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Star Wars, Thor: Ragnarok, and The Wizard of Oz. These movies have left their mark on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. I've been a die-hard Ant-Man fan since 1987, and since 1993, I've also been a massive fan of Kang the Conqueror.

Kang's just a human but he has such advanced technology from the future that he's almost as if nanobots ironman went into the dark ages and conquered everyone there. Or how eternals were so strong and introduced fire and tools to homo sapians etc. BUT, that's not the problem. The problem is that, Kang's already ahead of the game. Even now that peolpe know about Kang and even if they tried to match techonlogy or power or fight him to stop him from controlling the timelines, he's so much ahead that he's had contingency plans upon contingency plans and Kang himself having infinite variants, even if they defeat one kang, another one pops up, sometimes worse than before, sometimes kangs just align interests temporarily similar to Lokis season 1, and then sometimes they betray or exhile eachother, again, similar to season 1 epi5 lokis, but the one thing that we know is that Kang's very cunning, ruthless, and will always, always ALWAYS find a way to come back. He's like black mold or a virus of the multiverse, you just need to have one Kang remaining and you'll always end up with another Kang to fight somewhere or another... So while Thanos was physically a larger threat to the avenger's universe in terms of raw power and infinity stones, Kang laughs at the infinty stones like they're dead paperweights because he doesnt have to win this war in pure power (even though he can, often does) he just have to play the long game and he always always won the long game.... as far as we know so far in the MCU. and based on that end credit scene. Also, I'm with Shashana on this one: the ending scenes of scott walking around, it feels eerie, it's almost like episode 1 of wanda vision eerie where things feel out of place, almost like scott never actually escaped the quantum world (which did feel a bit anti climactic in terms of cassie just opening a portal for them seconds later...) it feels almost similar to that probability storm matrix that he was in earlier, where he saw different posisbiltieis of stuff, and im wondering if when they destroyed the core, scott's stuck in a probability storm matrix , a simulation almost, and he thinks hes out in the real world and with family but he's still stuck, with Kang, and if they get out, we end up a kang dynasty movie. maybe? All i know is that the colors in the end were very green/purple in background, the scenes didnt make sense, people/actors being repeated in the background almost like a procedurally generated game, and just scott getting that moment of 4th wall breaking almost where he's FEELING that its wrong and asking if he doomed everyone , and then he gets sent back into this "perfect life fantasy" state as if nothing happened... it doesnt feel.. right.

A lot of people try to use the fact that Kang loses to Antman to devalue his actual power. Kang actually loses to advanced technology used by the ants. Kang also only had his suit and not all of his technology. Kang is only human after all, it's his ability to change time and his advanced technology that makes him so powerful. Only because they were in Quantum Realm that this was possible. He's much more powerful than they made him seem in this movie. In future events, he will have all of his technology and the heroes won't have advanced technology to thwart his power.

Tony cracked the code of time travel. transporting people to other universes isn't what they did here, it was about the quantum realm. also i dont know if you understand how intelligence works in the MCU but all of the greatest minds in the MCU typically WAIT until there's something that interests them until they decide to figure it out. for the best example, the one i just gave about Tony. theoretically Tony could have always solved the Time Travel problem, but the thing was that he never actually put thought into it so he never did it until it was brought up to him and then he solved it that same night. a case to back this point, Rocket the Raccoon for example. Rocket is probably thee smartest organism we've seen in the MCU to date. he's definitely smarter than Tony, and he is for sure smarter than Shuri (who is confirmed to be the smartest person in the MCU's 616 original universe). Rocket WITHOUT theory could have cracked the code to time travel with trinkets of trash if he needed to, but he never needed to....so he never did. it was never a problem that sprouted in his mind so he never solved it. Reed Richards is probably the biggest example of that. his entire character is based around being THEE smartest man in the entire universe and he never has time for personal things because his mind and curiosity for constantly solving problems that pop into his head always keeps him busy. he actively thinks about things and then solves it after a short amount of time, and then another problem that needs to be solved pops up randomly. So Cassie is not one of the smartest on the planet. she's just a smart kid who had a problem to solve, then solved it. she's not on the same level of intelligence as most other characters that we've seen.

With the multiverse, nothing is impossible to reuse. It is basically a free story loophole. What they did with spiderman no way home just goes to show they can create as many story lines as they want and make it canon by saying it is a branch. Meaning that "ALL" versions of every super hero story is real. The possibility of crossing over into MCU via "multiverse" an easy way to continue on characters that they even killed in MCU already.

Honestly, I don't think this would matter much. Most of those scores are skewed based on review bombings or social media dumping. Most reactors that I see watching these movies after the releases are either on the opposite end of the negative scores or on the it was ok side. Not much to add really. i can tell you're one of those people who reads "an assault accusation" then immediately thinks they did it. Johnathan Majors was proven INNOCENT of all intentional charges of harm and assault. he was only charged with "accidental" harm because of the fact that the woman he was running from got hurt while he was trying to get away from her. and even then, if you payed attention to the evidence in the trial, her injuries weren't even there until she got drunk the same night with strangers and tried to off herself with pills in Majors' locked apartment. an apartment that he wasn't even inside of that night. he and a maintenance man were the ones that found her blacked out and injured in his locked apartment and he called the cops FOR her. and they have the cops on video telling her to say that Majors hurt her. cut out the bs opinions until you pay attention to the facts that you did not even take the time to look for.

Sadly, this was the worst MCU Film for me. I didn't like it. The previous Ant-Man films had a heart and soul to them via the Family dynamic with all the supporting cast that was lost here by omitting the other characters from the film. They turned Darren Cross from the first film who was a serious villain and psychopath into a joke. The writer "Loveless" (Who was also writing Avengers 5 but was fired after the reception of this and attitude) thought of Modok as a joke and yes, he kind of is, but really, there's alot of things that are a joke in comic books that as another media creator you're supposed to take and make work. The Avengers Video Game as bad as it was, took Modok and made him a serious, dark and tragic character and they could have done the same thing here but nope. They treated him as a joke. Then there's the fact that no character in this film really has a arc. Shit just happens. Kang is...okay. He's the best part but they do him no justice by having Ants defeat him. They turned what was supposed to be a big threat to the Avengers into a joke by having him defeated by Ant-Man and smaller lesser characters. THE ORIGINAL ENDING WAS CHANGED. It was supposed to end with Kang beating the heroes and escaping and Scott/Hope both trapped in the Quantum Realm but their family attempting to figure out a way to free them whilst Cassie also began setting up the Young Avengers. I don't understand why they changed it. Its basically Ant-Man 1 all over again but worse. Its repetitve. I think trying to make Ant-Man a bigger character was a mistake. Ant-Man and his previous films weren't this grand, large scale event. And in an attempt to make it bigger and grander, the filmmakers lost sight of what made the previous Ant-Man movies so fun and heartful. Its a shame this is how they decided to end the Ant-Man trilogy. Performance wise its good but story and character writing just wasn't sadly.

I have to agree, I was not invested at all. I think they changed the ending because people responded negatively to Cassie. They couldn't just trap two perfectly accepted characters, and replace them with an arrogant, unlikable character. I remember reading the spoilers after they made the test screening, I was surprised when I didn't get that ending in the theatrical release.

Kang will continue to be the MCU’s next big bad, but the staff over at Marvel Studios have decided to part ways with Jonathan Majors following the recent allegations against him. I won’t go into that here, but right now Colman Domingo is among the candidates in the running to portray Kang. Colman said he’d be interested in portraying a villain for either DC or Marvel. By the way, the massive arena is the home base for the Council of Kangs. The three leaders in order of appearance are Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus. I know that Rama-Tut is a villain of the Fantastic Four, but there are rumors that a second season of Moon Knight is in the works with Rama-Tut potentially having a key role.

marvel is gonna rehire Jonathan majors, marvel helped him set up the interview he did on abc, abc is owned by Disney and they put the full interview on Hulu, so they obviously plan on rehiring him, anyone who actually followed the trial knows he did nothing wrong, also literally all he was found guilty of was unintentionally hurting her finger when trying to run away.

Remember, all the Ant-Folk BARELY beat ONE Kang.....who DIDN'T have his time powers. Which are all his MAIN powers. And it took them BOTH Ant-Mans (Hank and Scott), BOTH Wasp (Janet and Hope), Stinger (Cassie), MODOK, an army of rebels, AND the help of a Technocratic Class 2 Civilization of Hank's hyper evolved super ants....to beat ONE Kang.....WITHOUT his main powers. A Class 2 Civilization, BTW, is a civilization that has gained complete control of the energy of its star - meaning, for example, if humans one day managed to build a massive spherical solar panel array that COMPLETELY encloses the ENTIRE SUN inside of it to capture ALL of the Sun's solar energy. Humans aren't even close to being even a Class 1 civilization yet. A Class 1 Civilization is a civilization that has learned to capture all of its star's energy output that would reach just their home planet. Only 0.00000005% of the Sun's light reaches Earth at all. To be a Class 1 you only have to capture that 0.00000005%. And humans capture only the teeniest tiniest fraction of that energy. To be a Class 2 Civ, those ants are waaaaaaaaaaay more than 2 BILLION TIMES as advanced as humanity at capturing solar energy. That's a long way of saying that those ants are almost DEFINITELY the most advanced civilization we've ever seen anywhere in the entire MCU. And it took an army of them to beat ONE KANG. A Kang who didn't have his main powers. And there's an army of INFINITE Kangs.
