And Burt Reynolds really took that hit during the game. They said they had a stunt double for him and he said he still had one good run left in him. Brian Bosworth that hit him was honored to hit him. He said “Who else can say they were ran over by Burt Reynolds”. Reynolds didn’t get hurt on the play but had to be helped off. They weren’t acting when they were carrying him to the sideline. He really needed the help.

So many ex-wrestler/football players(most of the wrestlers also played pro or college football at one point or another) in this movie it's unreal. Example: The guard they give estrogen to, is Kevin Nash, an ex-wrestler AND football player. Nelly indeed played football in school, according to people from his hometown/highschool, he was talented in both football and baseball.

To this day, I’m still impressed by Adam Sandler’s commitment to this role. At the beginning of the movie, he’s his usual pot-bellied, out-of-shape, self. By the time he starts getting the team together, he’s in shape and looking more like a football player. He also learned how to play football well enough to be convincing onscreen.

If you're onto sports movies with amazing stories, you're not going to regret reacting to "Warrior" (2011) with Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte. It's about MMA fighting with an incredible story and acton/fight scenes. Severely underrated, but one of my favorite films ever!
