Jesse can never tell when someone cares about him he can't see that his parents still love him just by the simple fact that they kept his room and all his stuff the same as if they always hoped he would come back home if only he would stay clean

People become that way because of what theyve experienced in life. Childhood is were we form our views of the world and ourselves so if Jesse has a tough time "seeing love" from people there is a reason for that, and his little brother shows that as well, the parents are emotionally neglectful. Both him ad his brothers personalities are common outcomes of that, they just chose different ways in which they try to get that feeling that they werent receiving from the parents. The self medicating and the over achiever. As we see the younger brothers path isn't healthy for him either as he is already starting to look for additional in his life that he is not getting from his parents.

@@aliciasavage6801 Exactly, their parents love and care for them but neglect the emotional support they need they care more about their kids being smart and successful then being their for them emotionally showing them the love. And Jesse felt that he could not achieve that so he went a different path and his little brother is trying to be that golden boy for his parents but it's getting to him too. So Walt treating him rude and calling him dumb all the time makes him feel like crap but he still wants his approval and still does what he says and because he is the only adult figure in his life that he can be himself around and it's like he feels someday he will win him over if he does a good job but what he does not know is that Walt already cares about him he just likes the fact that he can control and manipulate him easy so he never shows that he cares about him so he won't feel he is emotionally attached to Jesse but he doesn't realize that he is in a way.

I wish I was you guys watching it for the frist time again. This show was so brilliant. I remember everyone at work would talk about it non stop and we would all get so excited for new episodes and ask each other about it the next day. This was when it first came out so we had to wait for episodes. Sometimes we would just look at each other the next day at work and not say anything because the episodes got so crazy it was hard to talk about. It was a look like "yeah i know....i know" all we would say was this show is so incredible. Eventually we would talk about the episodes but after we got over the shock of what happened lol. I'm so happy you guys get to experience it all and super excited to see how you react!! I've watched this show 3 times from beginning to end. The characters just really grab your heart. The way they grow and change throughout the series is amazing. I love Jesse and Walt's story the most. There are no words to describe their journey from season 1 to the very last episode

I've always loved the shows that are slow paced at first and even threw out the show that will show you a 5 minute scene that doesn't have a huge impact on what's going on but just a suddle thing that will show you more who the characters are. I just feel like breaking bad did such a good job threw out the hole show showing you who everyone is and their progression as a person and their changes.

Shoshana, a port-a-potty isn't bad when it's maintained and kept clean, and there aren't a lot of people using it between cleanings. Yes, at a fair or public event they end up nasty right quick, but one that's in a fenced-in area that only employees use tends to not be bad at all. The maintenance guys come and suck everything out of those things and then hose the whole thing out entirely, top to bottom, before refilling them with fresh blue disinfectant antiseptic liquid and stock it up with toilet paper and whatnot. They're way better than having to take a dump on the ground somewhere, especially when they're clean and fresh.

38:02 Unfortunately not, it's still a widely used drug and is very pervasive in some places. I live in Alberta and it's one of the most serious epidemics we've ever had, Fentanyl is also quite common but it's less damaging IMO; meth changes people to a much greater degree and it tends to cause more outward harm, whereas fentanyl mostly just harms the user.

Walt is protective over Jesse he was his student and he quickly starts to think of him as family even though he gets annoyed by him and treats him bad he always has his back and Jesse is always loyal to Walt out of respect for him use to be his teacher and because he wants his approval and even though he can't stand him some times Walt is like a father figure for him it's an interesting relationship as the show goes on

I have seen other shows start out way slower than breaking bad i mean the first episode we find out he has cancer, he starts cooking drugs and gasses out two people killing one if them that is not too slow to me lol but yea the rest of each show after the first episode through season one its like something interesting will happen yet will all the explaining of the family and his cancer kinda slows it down but it's important for it to be part of the show it gets better with every season leaving you mind blown by season 5 and then the movie after that

The point of meth is that it makes you feel good, even though it makes you start being scared of everything, it still feels good. It causes what's known as a "dopamine cascade" in your brain, making everything feel awesome, but it also short-circuits your perception of reality to where you feel like you keep "solving" or "figuring out" someone or something, like you're on to them, know they're not keeping your best interests at heart. It's that "eureka!" feeling, but overdrive, and you start figuring out that the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, NSA, are all watching you because you might be a terrorist! It feels too rewarding realizing that these things are happening, and using every little thing as evidence to confirm it via complex mental gymnastics, for you to be able to realize and understand that it's not actually happening and you're delusional. It also doesn't help that sleep deprivation causes hallucinations, where your brain starts "back firing" and ideas start turning into perceptions. I would hear sirens all around while I was in the shower, because they'd lost line-of-sight to me while I was in there and they thought I might be building a bomb or something in there. That was the winter of 2011-2012, and it was something I'll never forget, walking 10 miles a night just trying to find a "safe" place where they weren't following or watching me, but it didn't exist, so I kept walking, and walking, all night. But yeah, after a few months I decided it was time to come home and I didn't need to do that anymore, because it wasn't fun. It left me haunted for a long time before I felt normal again and all the paranoid delusions I'd developed went away. Every once in a while though, I still get a funny feeling about a car while I'm driving somewhere. DON'T METH AROUND GUYS!!!!
