Frapin 1920 is BEAUTIFUL. The detail of the bottle is exquisite and the scent is so classy You have me curious about Essie red bottle…I really love the blue one, I mentioned it changed over time and is now like a peppermint pattie smell. The bottles are fun, so Art Deco😄

For stewed fruits in winter I love Serge Lutens Arabie. This video makes me want to get my Casablanca out and wear it. I have it stashed away as a warmer-weather fragrance, but I'm going to try it in the cold.

And I used to think the same about Casablanca…..since I bought it in warmer temps I assumed it was for warmer temps but it’s perfect for cold weather also and doesn’t veer into “wow that’s strong and sweet territory”. 😁❤️

Hi Chris, I have so many cupcakes that I haven't used since I purchased them as well and Love Is In The Air is one of them. It's such a pretty feminine fragrance and I don't know why I haven't used it in the 2 years since I got it but I definitely need to. I never thought to spray Lamar in the winter months, that never even occurred to me because I think of that one and Dehab as spring/summer fragrances. I guess that's another one I need to bring to the front of the shelf. I have been wanting to try a fragrance from The Gate for the better part of a year and I've never pulled the trigger. I just love the gold bottles. I still overspray Rose All Dae 😂....It's still freezing cold here as well and it will be until Mid April.

Yes…..I know you like Dahab better…but give Lamar a try on a cold day….I think you’ll really like it! The Gate is so delicious but on the light side so I think it will be gorgeous in the hot weather also. 💕❤️😍

These sound delicious! I think my favorite winter time fruity scent is Stella by Tocca. The bitter orange is so warm and bright. The freesia isn't too overpowering. And the lovely soft/cozy amber drydown is divine on my skin.

I’ve been loving the original Giorgio Armani Si Inttense in the black bottle. It’s got that black currant/cassis scent that I just love to smell in the colder months! It’s different from the recent release of the intense in the clear bottle. I love mine so much more & one spray lasts me all day… it’s a bomb! 🍇

Yes! I am loving Casablanca too 🤩 Also, I travelled to the mainland this week… When I travel to the mainland it’s the only chance I have to try perfumes in store. And in the winter since I’m all bundled up, I only have two spots to spray, the back of my hands. 😂 Well guess what I chose for one hand? Cacherel Yes I am! My husband loved that one! I did too but I had Gorgeous Gardenia EDP on the other hand and I liked it a bit better ☺️ By the way! I keep meaning to ask you if you would do a “show your sprays” video! 🙏🏼 I know each perfume is different depending on how strong it is but I always love seeing how people apply their scents. I feel like it affects the experience you have with a fragrance! Thanks for another great video! 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Tammy!!!! In the winter I spray on my clothes because as you can imagine…I can be covered head to toe with clothing (wear lots of turtleneck sweaters). I actually like to spray on my clothing. It lasts a tad longer through the day . If I just sprayed on my skin under that bundle…I wouldn’t smell anything. I also spritz in my hair. 😉💕

@@ThePerfumeNest Love it 🥰 ..spraying in your hair, that’s a great tip and I often forget to do that! I like spraying on my clothes too, even when I do go away for the day I spray my clothes and my coat with my scent of the day, and just save my hands for testing in the store lol

Heard a lot about Lamar from Kajal and even though I have not enjoyed pineapple in some perfumes in the past I will give this a go. BDK Pas ce soir is also one that I plan to purchase soon, the winters are long in Canada and I am looking for variety for the next 3 months that the typical scents. P.S the apples and aces one looks so interesting, thanks for sharing!

Lamar and 1270 sound wonderful. I have yet to try pineapple themed perfumes and have added them to my sample list. Pas Ce Soir is SUCH a favorite. I fell in love and purchased it after only a day-long test.

Even here in Texas it can stay cold through March but it's been 70 degrees all week which has been incredible. Last week we got 4 inches of snow and now it's 70 degrees 😂. But in the morning it will be in the 30's and then in the 70's during the day. The weather here can flip really fast. It's so bizarre!

Thanks for the great reviews. I’ve had The Gate fragrance for a couple of years. I really like it but it’s so light. I’ve almost listed it on Mercari a couple of times but I find it’s great for the warm California months. It’s already 70’s and 80’s here. I had another perfume from them, First Sight, but sold it because it had too much mint for me.

Yes!! I absolutely agree Inside Out will be great for warmer weather also. I sprayed maybe 6-8 times and was able to get a half day which I bet would improve when it’s warmer. I do love a good mint so I need to see if I sprayed First Sight which I’m assuming was in my discovery kit! Off we go! 🥰😄

I’m still waitlisted for Lamar and will wait patiently for it after sampling it last winter😍😍. Casablanca is definitely going nowhere, I’m planning to put it on my March rotation😍😍. So I bought Pas Ce Soir in winter (June🇿🇦) last year and I only pulled it out in September (our spring🇿🇦)🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. I packed it away last week so I guess I will have to pull it out again😂😂. Oh I sampled 4 HOS fragrances from a friend in December and Love is On The Air was my favourite😍😍. I’m still eyeing that Apple & Aces fragrances, sounds very appealing to me😍😍. It's one of the best things about the cold weather - the contrast. Warm 'n' heavy the perfect remedy. But yeah, Frapin not known for strong performers. Shame too, because 1270 is a hit.

OMG Chris , please give Love is in the Air a minute ! This is hands down my favorite fragrance of all , I describe this as breathing love in when I smell it 💖💖, and one of my male coworkers said it's instant sexy lol I have always loved fragrance but just started into niche in 2020 have tried a lot of the top fragrance houses HOS has my heart especially Love is in the Air!!
