Hey Ben! What brand of playground balls are you using? The last few I’ve tried are either way too firm or become lopsided really quickly.

I haven't found anything that compares to Sportime/School Specialty Poly PG Ball, they're awesome and high quality rubber that doesn't get hard and crack easily - amzn.to/4eiKubV (They sometimes have better deals on their site over amazon, so double check before ordering)

why does the "loser" get 1 lap? running as a consequence of losing is probably not the best message to send about exercise..

You can definitely change it up as I listed in the video at the end one of the variations could be making the winner jog a "victory lap" and loser stays. Do what you think is best for your kids. We have fun playing the game, kids love to run, they love to play, we enjoy exercise, it's not a big deal, but I agree with the main idea of what your saying.
