I played it this week in K-3 and they LOVED it! They loved the name and the idea of "stealing" someone's coconut.

I did this game today but added basketball dribbling to it. The coconut was the basketball and the hula hoop was the island so the balls wouldn't roled away. They had to v dribble the ball back to their island. Kids loved it!

That's awesome! Glad it went well. I've done it with dribbling and grabbing a bean bag but never used the Basketballs as coconuts, that's a cool variation
