Reason not to is 1 nick is still the head coach lol. 2 centre and RG position. That is huge, replacing a future hall of famer is tough. 3 the melt down last year will still be on the players mind, so a slow start watch out. 4 asking D.white, N.dean and whomever else plays LBer , that could end up not working out. Rookies and younger players have to step up. Last losing Reddick is a huge loss to the defense, u need play makers in the NFL to win, who on this defense now is a true play maker?

Hands-down, the biggest issue from last year was coaching! I’m not sure what that says about Sirianni, but as long as he does not have “Yes men” at the coordinator positions this year, we’ll be in a much better spot. I can’t say enough good things about the talent and leadership on this team with the coaches and players that we have. I’m hoping that last year was just a blip on the radar. I totally understand that. I’m actually at the point where I don’t know what value Siriani is going to add this year. Seeing him act like a freaking child last year yelling at Chiefs fans and all that shit, along with saying egotistical and questionable things at press conferences, gives me major concerns. He is the architect of last year‘s failure. His ego led him to believe he could hire coaches with no experience on both sides of the ball when it came to the coordinator positions. However, that’s not even the biggest crime. The fact that he refused to admit there were problems and kept allowing shit to get worse and worse gives me great paws on his leadership abilities. I hate to say this, but I think in 2022 was a product of his coaching staff. Obviously, when he’s left his own devices shit falls apart. Last year looked like the first half of 2021 before he delegated playcalling to his coordinators. His refusal to adapt and commit to absolute basic scheme and predictable stuff that wouldn’t even work in college is scary. However, this year, he has two very experienced coordinators who probably have more pull than he does himself. I do think Siri is a lame duck head coach. The only way he keeps his job is if he to have the right people underneath him. With all that being said his behavior last year resembled someone with an immature, ego, a propensity to focus only on the good things while at the same time ignoring the problems. You cannot do that in the NFL. He needs to get himself in check and he better not be yelling at fans and popping off at the press conferences, when he isn’t even making significant contributions to the teams successes

People tend to forget Hurts has had literally 11 OC’s in 10 seasons all the way back to high school. Just food for thought. But taking my die hard Eagles fan bias away I really can’t start to even process where a defense even starts to try and game plan to 1. Contain Jalen Hurts 2. Contain Saquon running and receiving 3. Contain 2 top 10 WRs in the league (one of which is top 5) 4. Not overlook Dallas Goedert who is a Do-It-All type of TE that can absolutely be a weapon. Like where do you begin scheming against that lol and that’s not even including a the best offensive line in football 98% of the last 5 years lol and this is the most talent Kellen Moore has ever had control of and that should also scare defenses

Slay is doing exactly what is needed. He knows he's on the tail end of his career. He still needs to be respected in games but is slowly hitting the age limit. I think it's a mistake to use dejean in the return game. He's too important to the secondary to risk getting hurt. Besides you have so many other guys that can return punts and kicks. Like Isaiah Rodgers and Paris Campbell.
