Good job Christian! getting some focus on that foreground leaf/rock while increasing the overall luminance of the background was a well done harmony.

Bear in mind you can tik the "Constrain to image" checkbox BEFORE adjusting the Transform sliders. That'll save you the need to crop the image.

Excellent, tutorial and end result. Just one thing, when in photoshop you say your going to do this or that, and like most tutors, the curser moves at the speed of light.I am always stopping and starting to see what you did and where.The cursor is so small together with very fast movement.You know but I don't. Your not alone in doing this., its very common. Apart from that great. Thanks for posting.

Thank you so much for the feedback! For me when recording the video It is very hard to go slower, since I always have the feeling its too slow and boring! I will try to improve on that

Why does your workspace look so different from mine?
@ThePhlogPhotography2 жыл бұрын
I guess I'm using a different version, or I have set up the workspace slightly differently (for example the panels on the right with the layers)
@bobm24103 жыл бұрын
Very nice job on the edit. But whenever you merge your layers down after an adjustment, I cringe because of the destructive nature of your workflow. Maybe it's just that I'm not as confident in my intermediate adjustments to do that
@ThePhlogPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I usually work non-destructive on more complex projects, those landscape photos are usually "easy" once I figure out what I want the image to look like

I dont know if you fixed it or Disneyfied it. all the moodiness is gone all the deep thoughtfulness the original photo evoked you have managed to obliterate. You had a beautiful deep and profound image that conjured old memories and you have turned it into a shitty travel magazine photo.
@ThePhlogPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Oh didnt know you're the one person who judged what's a good photo and what's a bad one. You know maybe there are people with different tastes? Maybe getting rid of your douchebag attitude will cure your toxicness?
@carlosenriquez20923 жыл бұрын
@@ThePhlogPhotography good response however, it doesn't change the fact that you are clearly able to take beautifull photos and yet are unable to embrace the beauty of your work. yourself allong with the army of other you tube creators in this field continue to push the narrative that not one photograph exists that shouldn't be "adulterated" by the magic of this software or that. Don't be to terribly mad at me my shitty attitude is a symptom of disease like mentality that says that nothing you capture with your camera is quite good enough. In closing let me just say that if you are happy knowing that every time you push that shutter button the result will be sub-prime and therefore need fixing then you go forward in life that way.

@@carlosenriquez2092 ok this response sounds a lot more friendly than the first comment. Still, my point stand there are people who like different things. Its the same with everything: some people like abstract paintings other like realistic paintings. I personally prefer vibrant, more unnatural looking images and I loooove altering raw files in photoshop, thats like half of the joy of photography to me.
