I still have yet to visit Scotland, but we're saving up for a trip. ^^ I know I have like at LEAST four Scottish clans in my blood, Wallace included. And to be honest, I swear I suddenly became more aware of it in my veins just watching this. XD Can't wait to make it over there!

Anytime I see landscape shots of Scottish rolling hills, especially the Highlands, I can feel my blood screaming "go Home", and I literally have to fight back tears. Whoever directed this video has a gift! Peter Davis should seriously consider looking into hiring whoever was behind the camera of this for the(albeit, stagnating at the moment, but eventually WILL be made) remake of HIGHLANDER!

It’s a marvellous song, and I’m so glad it’s giving you strength. Hang in there! As a survivor of 54 years, I feel blessed to have seen my babies grow up and have children of their own. May you, too, be blessed. As an aside, my father was born in Scotland, which I love, having visited two or three times, and Eileen Donan castle is one of our favourite places. Coincidentally, one child was there TODAY, photographing it.

My wife and I went to the Smith Center here in Las Vegas for their last show last night. I had forgotten about this song in their repertoire. My older brother had died from injuries sustained in an accident this past summer. He was a firefighter and my hero. I started bawling when they started to play and when the pipers came on stage I totally lost it. I’m still choking up writing this. Thank you The Piano Guys for an amazing show and letting me get out the emotions I have been keeping in

My brother died by suicide a week ago. Yesterday we played this song as they walked his casket to his grave. The men in the family always wear kilts as a tribute to our heritage. My brother loved his kilt and was proud to wear it. We buried him in it and my family wore there’s. This song reminds me of him and I can always feel him near when I listen to it.

@@jodidruecker9233 Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the struggles and madness in this world today, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] - (AMPLIFIED version) NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. Xx

+Matheus Moreira Oh, I hate to open this Pandora's box on youtube . . . It kind makes me annoyed to see Mormons trying to take this song. This song is about Christ the son of God that cam to save us. Mormons reject Christ's deity and therefore his ability to have done anything for us. Because of this it sort of pains me to see piano guys using these lyrics.

To this day I always will hold a special place in my life for this song. 4 years ago I was told I needed surgery to save my life and was terrified of what would happen to me. For the weeks up to the date I listened to this song on repeat nonstop and even as I walked into surgery I had it playing. It's such a strong combination of two songs I've always loved, and they will always remind that no matter what happens that I am strong, that I can take on anything life throws at me and will overcome it. I've had 5 surgeries since then and every time I listen to this one song to keep that fire burning bright inside! Keep it up guys, your work does inspire everyone who listens!!!

Just in case anybody wants to know Jon is wearing the traditional Scottish "Ferguson Ancient Tartan" plaid, while Steven is wearing a version of the "US Air Force Reserve Band tartan" plaid adopted in 1990. A Plaid is the the name of the tartan shawl worn draped over the shoulder. This is not to be confused by the Plaid PATTERN, which is a 2 or 3 color pattern of regular shapes (usually squares). A Tartan is a regular repeating pattern that is identical both vertically and horizontally (you can turn it 90 degrees in either direction and it still looks the same)

And they tour for a week (sometimes more) most months.... have to write, arrange, practise and record the music before making a video and releasing it.... so I think they're releasing quite a bit of new content, IMO. :) But I am sure they appreciate your support! :)

I had the horrible misfortune of my daughter dying 6 years ago, she loved bagpips and a colleague of hers played them, he drove over 100 miles to her funeral and played AMAZING GRACE for her, totally one of the most beautiful services ever.

I saw this music video a few years ago and the music and the scenery just captured my heart. Two weeks ago I was very blessed to have been able to go to Scotland and made a trip to see this castle - Eilean Donan in the northern Highlands of Scotland. To see it in person, to walk across that bridge and take in the beauty of the castle and surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful. Needless to say the music played over and over in my head as I strolled the grounds and it was the highlight of my trip. These gentlemen bring a true beauty to music.

This song really helped me push through my struggles with depression. I cry every time at the key change near the end where the pipes come in.

Piano Guys, you have truly been given a gift from God. Music that is not tampered by the evil man gifted with the manipulation of music. You deliver such an honest message, truly an inspiration in all you do. I respect you for promoting peace as well as preforming at the inauguration; that took some serious courage and alignment of Christ in you. Keep on keeping on, and I sincerely pray that you guys continue to trek on your path with God, wherever you are. I would also like to say that I in no way know how you practice this, but I hope the people that loved Annie understand that it is not only a mourning of passing, but rejoicing of a new and better life. Thank you, Jon and Steve!

Saw them live just last night in Los Angles. They performed this song and some bagpipers joined them on stage for that last section - it was amazing. VERY inspirational performance. These videos honestly do The Piano Guys no justice, the music is so much better live. If they come to your town, go see them!

You know what's amazing to me? That the Scots are the only ones that say "Embrace our culture, welcome. Play our music, sing our songs, they are ours and yours. This isn't cultural appropriation, it's sharing. Long live the Scots.

💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Greetings from Scotland, specifically, Ayrshire (aka Burns Country) Robert Burns being our national bard, and just recently, the world gathered to sing one of his works "Auld Lang Syne" I for one am immensely proud it has traversed this globe, so far and sung by so many. But please sing it in it's traditional words, if you can. No changing it. This is how it is sung. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5KZoaVsqsenfNk I love how our stories, our songs and how many across this globe love us. Our accent, our quirks, our culture and our beautiful country. Thank you. Please come and visit. Scotland is vast and rich in history, heritage and beautiful scenery. But it's also not lacking in water. So bring your big coat, just in case :)

Honestly no one from any country gives af...the only people who care are retard SJW's who think it's their business to be offended for other people even when it is about something that doesn't pertain to them at all.

4 years ago, my son spent 4 months in the NICU. It was devastating. When I felt down about how I couldn't have him home at the holidays, I would play this song on my car stereo (I only allowed myself to cry in the car) and I would get strong again. We came home when he was 4 months and 8 days old and his life began. Thank you for helping me get through that time with the power of your music
