Ark Survival Evolved - Base Build - Viking Mead Hall (speed build)
This base was built on the FJORDUR Map by NEKATUS, Released as the latest Ark Survival Evolved New Map DLC on the 12/6/22
The base is built using wood and thatch structures on stone foundations, I wanted to keep the build looking authentic to the period.
There is the main Mead Hall for Feasting with crafting workshops and storage around the sides.
There is a large hanger for flyers with bedrooms, storage and a few small crafting areas throughout the upper floors.

This is just beautiful man... Is it possible to build with normal settings tho? I doubt id be able to build those giant ceiling a with no support on my server and I wanted to know if it would be possible to build if I place the pillars there while building (if it wouldnt ruin the aesthetics) this would go perfect with my viking themed base in Fjordur

I slowed this to 0.5 speed and built it on my survival server... Took a week but now I have the best base on the server 💙

I know I'm late to the party on this, but with the release of Fjordur for official I have been looking for base inspiration. Something I have noticed about your builds specifically is the change in roof pitch, I'm guessing but using ramps vs sloped ceilings. This is a really cool design feature and I will be attempting to mimic it in my base build Thanks for all the Nordic inspired build vids!

I love your builds. I would like to get a nice looking modern base, but not modern IRL, something late game related. Tek stuff, with space for a workshop with all workstations that ark requires. I am located in the big cave in Ragnarok and I have trouble getting inspiration to build something nice looking there that is also functional (PvE). Not so colosall as a Skycraper, but not as small as a hut. Whenever you have time, please, gimme some ideas Pilgrimz

hey broth im wondering bc I've came across this a lot every time I try put the cat walk in the beginning in-between the pillars its always red won't let me put it down an telling me to remove pillars but thats to much I did exactly what u did an says I have to tear down stuff idk what im doing wrong but I hope u write me back

Nope, no mods just the normal game but I had clip active in the settings and that removes structure collision
