Love the tutorial and design, but i can't figure out how to close the ceiling around the hexagons. Ceilings and triangle ceilings won't seal it. What other materials were used?

Nm... Has something to do with structure collision. My server won't allow it. Just going to go without hexagons on second floor. 😞

I ended up building the same hangar but made it a double hexagon on top, used tek/metal and changed the upper/lower layout and a few other changes. Well it came out awesome and tyvm for the inspiration.

I had built a pretty dock, and during storms the waves would go too high and make the boat hit the ceiling, so if anyone has some kind of large pond, try using it so the waters keep always the same level and looks pretty even during rain and storms!

Going to build this near the big waterfall before Blue Zone on Aberration. Maybe add a second platform and do your forge build, too, and smash em together. Add an elevator to the forge platform to the plateau below, and stretch a bridge across that into Blue Zone proper. Wall that all off with no gap walls and call it a day. Definitely going to be a project, but I just got all the pieces for this this morning. 😊

I thought I remembered you being able to shift click scroll wheel on stuff to copy the block/structure instead of having to go into the build menu for it.

Finally fpund a base build that didn't increase structure limit. Don't get me wrong those are super cool and I'd live to build them but I'm on a server so sadly i have no say in it. Also i watched through and have a rough estimate of materials (aside from guns and what not)

Materials I counted were: Metal foundation: 48 Metal walls: 28 Metal door/frames: 5 Metal window/frame: 8 Metal ceiling:36 Metal dino door/gate 12 Giant metal hatchframe/hatch: 8 Sloped metal wall left/right: 1 each And as for the wood stuff it's cheap so i just made a bunch of each so i didn't have to count it. I am human and could make mistakes so i recommend doing what i did and adding 1 or 2 to each of these if you hve the spare mats so you don't have to go back and make more later.

just made this build in asa, on scorched, is there a way to make the whole middle part in the ''house'' icon? the front and back section of the base is safe from sandstorms and such but the middle circle isnt so i cant really walk there during a sandstorm..someone pls help :)

2:50 I had massive struggles with this. You can fix this by using S+ Foundations and Ceilings, because they automatically adjust to the same height. But it's not "no mods" anymore then. (Just use S+, trust me. It's gonna make your life much easier)

Has anyone had any luck building this on ASA the island map? Had 2 great locations but theres always a couple pesky foundations that wont snap at the level I need, could use ceilings but thought I'd ask first if anyones done it with the original structures. Thanks :)
