You saw this year, he wasn’t ever gonna let the game get him down, no situation was too big, too much, he just stayed calm and confident. I’m so proud of him, and I’m so happy he’s a Green Bay Packer but we know as great a player as he is, he’s a better human being.

It was a rough patch when they were losing games wondering if they’ll ever turn it around. But that chargers game was the turning point of the season and the team and Jordan including just turned a corner and it just clicked for him and the offense. Kudos to him and the coaching staff cause they put him and the O in great positions to succeed. MLF and his staff don’t get enough credit as well.

The game did get tooo much for him. He made I’ll advise mistakes. Look at the LV game and the last play off game. Him forcing throws got to much. Especially with time on the clock and timeouts. He kept a us in until the last 30 seconds or so. I’m not talking sht but I hope he learns and grows from it because it definitely is frustrating that he doesn’t use the whole clock.

As a life long fan of the Packers I will always remember the "lean" years. I half expected to be experiencing some of those days again when Jordan was drafted. Who in their right mind thought the Packers were drafting another QB to replace a legend. The Favre to Rodgers transition taught me as a fan to have a wait and see approach before judging this "kid" from Utah St. before he ever took the field.
@jesusoftheapes7 ай бұрын
I was one of the only fans at that time who was super happy about Aaron Rodgers replacing Favre. Favre had just finished up his best season with the Packers in a decade the season he retired . Rodgers was to me the greatest thing to ever happen to the Packers though . I was a huge Aaron Rodgers fan before he ever became a Packer and that made me the only person in Wisconsin who wanted that era to start over the Brett Favre era . I took a ton of heat for it. You would think I would have learned my lesson from that with Love but unlike Rodgers I hated Love coming out of college. I was not on board with running him out to NY and did not believe Jordan could do the job at all . Jordan proved me right for about 50% of the season right up and until he did not. What Jordan did last year was something I have never seen in football . A player who sucked his entire career becoming the best QB in the NFL just does not happen.. Proving once again Gutekunst is better than most people at football evaluation. Who knows what Jordan does moving forward. He has just as much a chance to fail as he does to star but right now the world believes in him . I still do not but I am starting to change my mind. If he puts in a full season of what he showed at the end of last season we have someone here. If he regresses which is also possible the Packers could be worse next year than this past year. Anything is still possible. The only thing Jordan needs to prove is that he can be great after being paid well . That will be his actual test. If Jordan is as good as he looks then the only hurdles he has in his way are those in his own mind. It sure has been fun to watch though. I was there with the Blair Keil and Randy Write seasons went down. I was there when the Packers wasted chances with Dickey . I sure do not hate the world the Packers have created these days by comparison . Whenever you hear a Packers fan upset with QB choices it is coming from one of us who lived through that period . It sucked !

@@jesusoftheapes I took a wait and see position and had some misgivings until midseason when something clicked, and he tore up the league. Watching Love annihilate Dallas in Dallas in the Wild Card round was amazing and he almost took down San Francisco until a late missed field goal blew it for him. I went back and reviewed his season videos and realized that he steadily learned and improved, with his passes becoming more and more polished and impressive in execution. His ability to lead this very young team is now quite evident. He is young but has all the critical characteristics that make for a top tier quarterback. Sure, he will have his ups and downs, but I think his professional trajectory may be similar to his two predecessors. Green Bay if fortunate to have him on their roster and the future looks very bright for the team and for Packer fans. Go Pack Go.

I wz surprised Jordan Love had 2 sit on the sidelines for 3 yrs. I'm new 2 the NFL being Canadian we hve our CFL. Our season starts much earlier & ends at the end of Nov w/ our Grey Cup. Yrs ago, many guys I knew preferred watching NFL games than our league!!! Of course I heard of Tom Brady & Bradshaw bc he's acted in movies. 4 sum reason, we ALWAYS knew abt the Dallas Cowboys!!! BUT I think it wz smart of the Green Packers!!! Look what happened w/ the Jets this yr. When Aaron R went down, he wz their whole offense, meaning he wz the play caller!!! They had no back up w/ no plan in place!!! I also think watching Patrick Mahomes, when he wz on New Heights, which wz awhile ago, he talked abt how much he learned from Alex Smith whn he wzn't playing!!! 28:30 its cool how he talks about the superman plays he made in College because that was one of the very few knocks on him going into the NFL. And sometimes it’s hard for QB’s to not feel that way, but it goes to show how good the evaluation of him was, when even he knows and admits it himself. That 49ers game gave me more hope than any other previous 49ers game as a Packers fan, besides the one where we won in the regular season and Rodgers & Davante kept destroying them on the last drive. I have faith in this team for once. The youngest playoff team in NFL history I believe, yet they showed THAT much poise, heart, fight, etc. Its very promising and I was shocked to see that from such a young and inexperienced team.

I think alot of it comes from the QB too. Whatever energy the QB (leader) exudes, rubs off on everyone around them. Sure glad he is a Packer! I was thrilled when we drafted Jordan and was shocked to discover how angry all the fans I knew were. It was the same thing when the Packers drafted Aaron and I won bets because I said it was going to be like Montana to Young. The difference was Jordan"s arm talent was much more evident in college than Aarons was. It has to continue but Jordans teamates love him the way the Lomardi Packers loved Bart. The Packers pulled off that drive to win the Ice Bowl because of Bart. The offense had done nothing the whole 2nd half but when they huddled up before that drive Bart looked them all in the eye, nodded and said, "let"s go". Someone who was in that huddle told me that in person 25 years ago. It appears Jordans teamates trust him the same way. If he stays humble and hungry the Pack is going to be Back on top.

To be fair, as a big ol' packer fan, its been really fun to be proven dead ass wrong by Rodgers and now Love. What an emotional roller coaster! I hope i keep being wrong for the rest of my life!

New fan and follower. Very well done, and a shoutout to the team behind the scenes for the excellent production values. Lighting, audio, camera work, and editing are spot on.
