T- MAC said that “Respect From His Peers” meant the most important thing to him. That shows you how humble, authentic, and respected this man is. T-MAC was the coldest during his tenure with Orlando and would have been a Top 5 player of all time, but injuries derailed the opportunity. However, everyone knows what he is capable of, which shows how LEGENDARY this man is. T-MAC was one of my childhood idols, and not to mention I had the hugest crush on him. And anyone from Central FL knows baseball and football were his first and second love, and he became heavily recruited In baseball and football. I’m so happy my guy T-MAC got dues paid off by becoming a Hall of Famer. Great job, The Pivot! Keep the unexpected guests coming! I don't think he ever reached his best prime state and if he did, it didn't last very long due to injuries Yea man... I'd put him in my top 10 list of best SF of all time or SG. Just because he doesn't have a ring don't get it twisted.. And he's right, I'm an orlando native. When tmac got here most people were happy we had just got grant Hill, no one was really talking about Tracey coming also. Most people felt like Grant Hill and tim Duncan would be the top guys and tmac would be a good role player. That was the news in orlando at the time, all around orlando. Tim Duncan decided to stay in San Antonio because of a disagreement with doc rivers during his free agency tour here, and Grant Hill was injured. So preseason started and tmac was out there putting on a show. Everybody like what they seen but still chalked it up to being just the preseason. The preseason showed us he was going to be a really good player and most likely our top guy until grant hill got back, but nobody still didn't know he would turn into a superstar until the regular season started and he just kept balling night after night, week after week. And that turned into months. People then started to realize he had superstar potential and was playing like one. Grant Hill was pretty much done from the time he got to orlando with repeated ankle issues and barley played so tmac had all the freedom to grow as a player. And that's how it went down. I remember it like it was yesterday.
