I had all the same thoughts that you did when we stayed there a couple months ago. The old rooms were perfect when we had a baby in a pack n play but it would def be challenging now. Thankfully we’re out of the pack n play phase and can enjoy the renovated room!

Thank you for this video! We stayed at POFQ in August and while there were things I loved about the resort (size, the splash pad) I wasn’t sold on staying here again because of the old rooms. But, with the upgrade to the rooms, definitely want to stay here again!

French Quarter is one of our favorites!! We’ve been staying dvc with my mother in law for our most recent trips though! Maybe we’ll be back some day!! Love the remodel!! It looks very deluxe!! 💜💚💛

FQ became our favorite resort as well. we plan on heading back to it next year. we’re staying at YC next week. always thought FQ is a hidden gem for a disney resort due its compactness & a very quiet resort. hope you had a nice stay.

💜💚💛 We are staying at riverside for our Christmas trip coming up! We love love love port orleans! My daughter and I haven’t ever stayed at French quarter and it is on my bucket list for sure! It looks adorable. We always spend some time over there when we are at port Orleans (beignets!). Hubby has stayed there, but it was when he was younger and he doesn’t remember that trip much. Maybe next year we can stay at French quarter at some point. Rooms look beautiful. Glad you said they do have some rooms with bathtubs. Our daughter is 5, but she is autistic and VERY particular about bath time!

They are half way through the resort and have a current deadline of finishing in Spring of 2025 so you should definitely be in a new room in December.

We stayed in a 5th sleeper at riverside and have 5 people in our family with kids 11 and under and my goodness was it very tight! Definitely just a place to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend staying in a moderate if you’re a family of five.
