I'm a subscriber because you two are fun to hang around with and you cover things I'm interested in. Those things are more important than "professionally produced" videos. Having said that, the quality of your videos are just fine and keep me coming back.

I like the format and the intro/logo is spot on. Not over produced. You tell me about the core machanics and the other fits around it. Also, I feel like you two have honestly played these games and enjoy the heck out of them. That's what I like to hear. Your experiences and what was great and maybe not so great about a game.

Your audio is far better than most wargaming channels. The fact that you use mics at all puts your quality above many. Even with a garbage microphone, most creators could up their audio game by just using some compression. Nothing worse than a super loud intro with someone mumbling at low volume right after.

I love that you try to react to comments. There are a few content creators who say they want to build a community (not naming here out of respect) but then do not react to comments, not even a thumbs up or heart. Us viewers want to engage and not hearing something back, makes people just leave the channel.

Really enjoy the videos even the ones with the house hold noise, just like the real world. Like the sound of the new table, hopefully it makes life easier for you. A bit confused with the 68 cruise limit and watching vans and trucks flying past, is it lane speed or are they exceeding the speed limit? One of the quickset 40 minutes. Thank you.

A very honest and nice to watch video. I do agree would be great if when you do an unboxing video if you folloed up with one or more turns, again if practical. Grant I just purchased Assault Red Horizon 41 , watched your top 10 recommendation of that :-) Its great to see how well you both work together and I enjoy watching your videos, even if you do not have timelines ;-) 😀

Good video chaps. With time stamps, I make a note of them when I'm editing, so I can just easily write them in the description when I've uploaded the video, if you make nots on word or similar, it's even easier as you can just cut and paste! It does take time though and I can understand you not doing it...

I'm a Brit with a northern working-class accent and it confuses the heck out of Americans (probably because they are expecting to hear the Queen's English like in the films). So I sympathise with Alexander because when I've been Stateside I've been called Australian too. I've never said Strewth, Fair Dinkum, or Cobber in my life😁

Everyone's naturally going to disagree at some point with others on the kind of game that works for them. What really matters in a KZbin war game channel is that the hosts are engaging, entertaining, informative, humble and genuinely interested in the hobby - I'd say you two pass with flying colours on all of those fronts. Keep it up!

I love your channel. Thank you so much for the content! Would you say that WBC is the best war gaming convention to attend? I would like to attend a conference next year. Which would you suggest for a solo gamer? Is WBC more for competitive gamers? I would like to attend one that’s friendly and for playing. I am curious to know the conventions you would recommend.
@ThePlayersAid2 жыл бұрын
Where are you located? WBC is family friendly, all sorts of people there from kids, to elder statespeople. There are plenty of tournaments, but mostly people are playing those for enjoyment. There's a ton of open gaming, and a bunch of designers and publishers there demoing prototypes and new games too. We love it, because it's a really great cross section of wargaming, with a ton of people to interview and try new stuff with etc.

Thank you for your informative videos. Especially as you seem like the typical gamers I know. Curious about WBC, do you have to sign up for specific days/times to get into a game or is it more like, I am free at X o'clock, what is open or what is scheduled to start then? Also is there open gaming, non scheduled, where you could say walk around holding a game you want to play and get takers. Or see one on a table with a sign or something like "looking for players"?
@ThePlayersAid2 жыл бұрын
A WBC there are plenty of events that you would book in to, including tournaments. However we don't participate in any of those. There's a huge open gaming hall, including a library you have access to with your badge, and like you said, signs asking for players. We routinely walk around with the game box lid trying to harrangue players!
