For info. you apply the Schengen visa on what country you will enter and the number of days must be longer than other EU countries you'll visit. Like my latest trip to Schengen countries, my number of days in Austria was 6 days while entry in Munich, Germany was 5 days. I was told by phone during application then that I should apply at Austrian Embassy. Since my application has been submitted online, good thing the German Embassy was allowing corrections of number of days by writing over on the application they have when I made my personal appearance. This made my Austria only 5 days and Prague, Czech Republic 4 days. I was granted a Schengen visa but as usual it was for 15 days (even if this was my 2nd time to get Schengen on own arrangement, the first was tour package, entry then was France), based on my itinerary because I was still working then and just went on leave. So, apply Schengen at the country you are entering and must be staying longer than other countries.
