The reason Spence thought he heard the ref call stop is because the ref did call stop... twice. When the ref calls stop... twice, you have to stop punching... Spence was not "held up by the ropes," and it wasn't a technical knock down because the punches were illegal, that entire exchange wouldn't have happened had BOTH fighters obeyed the ref's instructions. When a mouthpiece is out and there is not a meaningful exchange of punches the ref stops the fight because the mouthpiece is required equipment. No punches were being thrown, the ref stopped the action and Ugas used Spence's careless inattention to throw punches against the instruction given to BOTH fighters in the ring. He didn't miss an opportunity, he took full advantage of it, it was his best moment in the entire fight. Ugas should have gotten a warning, instead he's getting accolades.

Look at Ugas around RD. 6 and you'll see him throw a jab or a cross out there and then immediately shell up, you could actually see his face wincing up waiting on the pain to come. One thing Folks don't realize is Spence is a natural 180 to 190 pound Guy fighting at 147. Crawford is a light weight that has gained weight to fight at 147 and Spence is hitting like a light heavy weight. I also think that Spence will break Crawford down well before the 12th round. With the right Neutralist you can loose the weight without loosing muscle. That person will most likely retain the same power prior to loosing the weight. On the other hand a lighter weight person from 147 blowing up 40 pounds will not necessarily get any stronger or hit any harder. It is about physics. Crawford will HAVE to keep Spence off of him. If he dose he has a Boxer's chance to win that fight. If Crawford cannot keep Spence off of him he WILL loose that fight. It is what it is.

Nobody at 147 knocks crawford out. He could beat him by split decision but not unanimous and defenetly not by knockout. Crawford is a dog and he not standing there to get hit all night.
