When you cement render use a 300mm long x 95mm wide wood float to flatten out cement .you should look at lime mortar for stone walls as it breaths annd doesn't hold damp like cement. Please get an electric barrell mixer.

Well Done, Jasper! A terracotta powder colourant added to cement mix, gives a lovely floor. Weve done this, years ago. Lovely smooth finish. No tiling needed. See google.

Being a relatively new subscriber, it was nice to see a little history of how it started. Also good to see someone able to put their hand to any kind of job. Ikea? I have a love/hate relationship with it. They've certainly refined their products over the years to make it pretty easy to put together, but i hate going to the store to buy it. Ps. OK I am very scared of your reaction to my comments, so I am being very brave here. I think you did and are doing a wonderful job. In this video since you were not talking to people, your kind nature shows through. You explained most things clearly and there only remains a few things that are unclear to me. If this is only a temporary kitchen why? same question goes to the bedroom. Why make them if you are only going to replace them? why not build them in their actual place? I appreciate and enjoy how much you love and care for your dogs, and how much they love and care for you, and that is the main reason why I stick with you when you can be so nasty to some people. I believe that under that corse exterior lies a kind , caring and loving man.
