Kurt i grew up off kenilworth ave north just north of barton st behind centre mall and other side of the tracks is mcnulty blvd why blvd i dont know its wht is was called back when house # 195 2 doors up past gilles store it was george gilles owned store for years was close for me to get stuff fir mom if needed cigarettes a lot of times .ok so i wanted to speak on are old water works u went too and explored u know something i never once was inside that old pump house if im remembering correctly but was over in area alot 100s of times we would ride are bikes down to lake or walk down tracks as far as we could and then past that pump house and to lake well we would when we were brave enough to go farther on bikes to top of kenilworth ave there was a brick factory there for 100s of years hamilton brick i think name was the domed brick ovens were there when we were kids we got in the new water works on side of mountain but never new where old one was that u found don't know why mybe they had it fenced ? This would of been 1970 to 73 when exploring on bikes u know 8 years old in 70 .u brought back greatest times ever in a young mans life then u were on grand river brantford area u should try going to caladonia and launch ok its good place theres a dam there water flows over now but old mill is still standing and 6 NATION'S IS RIGHT THERE ON RIVER .when we were teenagers we had campsites on river and was greastest time of your life too chasing girls and get a kiss was somthing u would work weeks for 😂 best times .rope in trees to swing out and let go into river my buddys dad had a16ft black baja speed boat in 1977 and we would water ski tube all day long the chief of 6 Nations had plane on pontoons docked at his home on the river best corn in the world grown on that river bank we get huge garbage bags full of it .. best memories kurt iam 62 now and in lloydminster ab i really miss hamilton kurt but here is home now my kid is here an grandson. U have email i could send u some really cool places out here my friend i hike and canoe
