I don’t like that they include some of the same or similar items from the regular advent calendar in the deluxe box. Makes it feel less deluxe. Personally I feel the regular one is better value for money.

I feel the reason they do this is because some people, that cannot afford to buy both editions can get a little bit of the stuff from the regular box.

@@kellyfoster8903 ye but it cheapens the box. Is it really luxury of you an get a load of the items the regular box? The items I like the most were in both boxes anyway- the pen, a park of socks, the gringots wooden tree ornament, Lunas glasses, the glasses cloth. Ye I know not everyone can afford to buy both boxes but there are definitely people that do get both. I don’t think the luxury one is worth the price if you can get almost half the items identical OR similar (e.g. both have a balloon even if they are different colours, both have a patch even if they are different sizes/designs ) in both advents. They could have atleast changed the type of pan in the luxury box to say a wand pen for instance?

Maybe they can be the same but slightly different. Eg lunas glasses cardboard in normal but plastic in deluxe?!!

@@PiksyMexxy ye that would have been good. And if they had put a wand pen in the deluxe rather than the same pen. But it’s current format I don’t think the deluxe was worth it. But that’s just my opinion.

I appreciate that you keep your energy up during these openings. To me, it started strong but after the Hufflepuff cup pin, it seemed pretty disappointing for the overall price of the box. It would have been nice to see all four founder items if nothing else. The snitch necklace was nice but the clasp on it makes it look like it was meant for a bracelet not a necklace.

The box is great, but the contents do not feel as deluxe as I feel it should have been. But oh well! Still some super cute socks! And I agree with another commenter who said you should do your own advent calendar!! You would rock it!

Aww thanks! And yes, the socks are great but I think the standard version plus a HP sock calendar would be a better choice than the deluxe version. It’s sad because the box and packaging is phenomenal!

I can’t wait to get my Keep Collecting box. I wasn’t able to get the last one, but your videos have convinced me to get the new one! Even if people don’t buy both, they still expect the deluxe to have more and unique items that no one will see in the standard edition. Some items seem cheap for a deluxe edition.

Not sure if I would call this box deluxe it was kind of a disappointment. My favorite items where the gloves, tea towel, cleaning cloth, the red Christmas socks, and Luna's glasses. The chance to win a Firebolt is also neat but not enough to entice me to buy this box and the price they are asking.

I think I'd be pretty disappointed if I paid $75 for that calendar. 3 pairs of socks and gloves and a necklace that I assume isn't even gold plated, and the rest was paper, stickers, thin cardboard decorations, in other words the rest probably totalled $5. Maybe I'm just pessimistic lol. I really appreciate you opening this calendar, it gave me a heads up of what not to buy for a HP fan :)
