It's tradition in my family to make confect for during December, that we then eat for Christmas. Like we form marcipan and nougat into all kinds of things and decorations with sprinkles, chokolate, gummi shoelazes and other things, colouring the marcipan and such. It's always really cosy! (From Denmark btw, if anyone were wondering) 😋

I am so sad advent calendar week is over 😩 The commentary in this video was golden! You trying on the socks and the commentary had me cracking up. “And that’s what they look like on a foot” … “ Why do I keep putting these socks on.. there they are” 😂 I never knew I needed a sock try on video 😂 Then the sugar rush from the candy, the jelly beans, “black pepper maybe… nope dirt” “I feel like I’m sweating” “grass… but not bad” then the ring/ pacifier. Omg this whole video was so good, I truly had a blast watching this 🤣

Loved the 12 Advent Calendar Days of Christmas, Peter. To answer your question, re caramel. In the UK, most people pronounce it using 3 syllables. ca-ra-mel. I couldn't see clearly, but what you were eating appeared to be more like what we call toffees. Firmer than caramel. Caramel is very soft, almost liquidy. Usually found coated in chocolate to keep it together. But, what's in a name, when they are all so yummy. 😊

It has to be made on a specific plate passed down through generations or it just doesn't taste right (and that is the plate's only purpose).

The calendar with the sweets (candy) it seems like they are uk candy, the ring was a sour dummie (pacifier), the watermelon you got right are watermelons, the pink and blue thing was bubblegum a bubblegum cola bottle, the caramel we call them toffee. Australia is getting the Beauty & the Beast Musical next year. Also, I’m sad that Peter ruined the doors on the sock Advent calendar as he could framed them each. In Australia it’s summer for Christmas, so keeping cool with the AC going, and sitting back with ice cold drinks and ice creams of different flavours or going out for dinner and enjoying desert at where we are having dinner

The pink and blue sweets are called bubblegum bottles and the ring is actually a dummy as part of the haribo sweet mix they are British sweets
