My grandma’s sister, Victoria, died as a teenager- I believe from TB. She was one of the older siblings and was a “favorite” of my great grandpa. He had given her a special locket, which she was buried with. For several nights, after Victoria was buried, my great grandma would wake up to my great grandpa crying, at the end of the bed, saying “please don’t go Victoria”. My great grandma just chalked it up to him dreaming and grieving so badly for his daughter. However, one night, when she tried to tell him he was just dreaming- he was adamant that Victoria had been there. He said “She was here, and she gave me this!” And in his hands was the locket that he’d given her and she had been buried with… 💯 True story

My grandmother was born in 1903 and lived in the same small rural community I grew up in 30 miles northwest of Birmingham, Alabama. My grandmother always told us a story about a picture they had hanging in their house called "Rock of Ages". The painting was of three women clinging to a rock during a storm. The picture would sometimes be found on the floor - they would find it leaning against the wall. Without fail, someone in the family would die within 3 days of the painting sliding down the wall. She said when her mother died, no one in the family wanted that picture!

This might not sound that spooky, but I'm deacon at a small church, and I stay after the service to straighten up the sanctuary. We have a metal roof, and it makes all kinds of noise. When it's windy, it rattles, and when it's hot, it makes little irregular popping noises. When you're alone, your imagination runs wild. I know what the noise is, and I know God watches over me, but it's still creepy. Thanks, and God bless!

@@Diligent-dp7gi I think you misunderstood me. It's not an "incident," it happens all the time. The roof makes noises due to the wind and sun acting on it. It sounds like someone is in or on the building. Of course I know it's just the wind blowing the eaves and the sun warping the metal roof. It still sounds creepy. That's all I meant. I was not implying that the cause of the noise is ghosts or whatever.

I am the youngest of five (oldest Big Brother, then three sisters, then me) and a girl cousin that lived with us that shared Big Sis' bedroom in our big farmhouse, the two middle sisters sharing their own bedroom, the girls' rooms down the hall from the boys, my room closest to the stairs. A few weeks after our Dad died (in our kitchen in his favorite maple chair surrounded by us all) when I was four, I overheard the girls telling my Mom that Big Brother had begun walking in his sleep. I thought nothing of it 'til one moonlit night when I awoke to a figure standing silently by my open bedroom door. Sure that it was Big Brother, I called his name once, twice, then a third time to no response. As the figure turned towards the top of the stairs, I jumped from my bed fearful that Big Brother would fall during his sleep walking, and as I came around the corner I could see his head through the railings as he continued down the stairs. But then I realized the downstairs door wasn't opening as could always be told by the squeak of the hinges and the lightening of the dark stairwell. Looking over the railing as my eyes became used to the darkness, I could see the figure was gone. Unsure what to do, I went to Big Brother's room and saw he was fast asleep. I then ran back to my bedroom, jumped into bed, and fell back to sleep watching my bedroom doorway. I awoke the next morning wondering what could have happened, when it suddenly dawned on me how much the figure looked like my Dad...

You’re not crazy, Austin. I saw a group of UFOs in about 1965 or 1966 when I lived in Southern Illinois. I was driving home from my job in a rural area at about 1:30 am. Very spooky!

I live in Southern Illinois and have seen some weird things in the sky myself. One night I was out picking up nightcrawlers after a rain and saw what looked like 3 orange 55 gallon drums in the shape of a triangle. It was going over very slow maybe 200 foot in the air and was completly silent. I watched it until it went out of sight. No idea what it was. One night up on Carlyle lake me, my brother, and my dad all saw a long string of bright white balls of light come from the north and slowly turn and go 1 by 1 out over the lake and dissaper. They too were silent. Crazy!

And I saw the amazing granddaddy of 'em in 1997 with my daughter at night. It was so massive it covered half of Phoenix. Type 'Arizona Phoenix Lights UFO' for the story. The 21 year celebration explains it pretty well. I tried 2 times putting my story of seeing it here, but both times it disappears, much like the ufo did that night after staying suspended over a mountain range and half the city.

My Grampy had a similar story to Austin’s! It happened in the late 60’s/70’s in rural Ohio. He and a buddy who lived nearby carpooled together to work. Grampy was waiting for his friend at the end of the driveway early one morning while it was still dark when all of the sudden he saw a flying saucer-like thing with a bunch of lights float up above the trees and just hovered there a few minutes and then was gone just as quickly as it had appeared. When his friend arrived he told my Grampy “You’ll never believe what I just saw” and corroborated everything my Grampy saw. 😂Grampy passed away 7 years ago but since then a local newspaper did an article about hundreds of similar sightings around the same time/area as his incident. 😳🛸

Good stories y’all. I don’t believe in ghosts but I absolutely believe in evil and I do know that, as Christians, God gives us a feeling when we are around evil. If you ever get that feeling, do what Corie, her mama and granny did….RUN and keep repeating, “ In the name of Jesus, evil be gone.” Katie, remember that the devil can make evil look safe. What you felt at first scared you enough to make you look behind you, to make sure no one was following you and that was probably the evil one messing with you and the warm comforting feeling was God protecting you because you are His child. God don’t put up with the evil one messing with His children. Y’all have a wonderful weekend. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida 😎🦩🌞🦩😎

My husband's work place bought a small house which was close to the property and the house had a reputation of being haunted. Many didn't believe it, but many had experiences in the house. Our granddaughter had had times where she saw things or heard things. My husband decided to bring her to the house to see if she heard anything..he, our daughter and granddaughter went to this house. He had permission from his boss, but the only way they could get in was to crawl through a big porch window. It was a two story house with the steps going up from the livingroom. Our granddaughter said she heard voices on the steps ...my husband heard them, too. Our daughter didn't hear anything...when they got to top of the stairs they looked in the bedrooms. Our granddaughter said she heard a baby crying in one corner of the bedroom...they left the house and as they were driving away our granddaughter got a strange look on her face. She said didn't they see the young man standing in front of the house? She said he waved to her. Our two daughters went to the newspaper office the next day after finding out the address of the house...it ended up that years before a young couple lived in that house and a young neighbor guy broke in and murdered them...the husband died at the bottom of the steps and the wife died on the steps...they had a baby who was found alive and crying in a crib in that same bedroom corner. The young man who murdered the couple matched the description our granddaughter saw....he had killed himself after he did the awful murders...we were shocked and so were the workers at the business....I believe in God and love the Lord but we cannot explain it...she has had other experiences...now that she's older and married with three children she doesn't have very many such things happen.

Neighbor excavating for a pool found human bones, he had to call the police, but it was someone they didn't move when they relocated the graves 100 years before. I'm a Spiritualist and belong to the Spiritualist church. We believe in God and Jesus, but we also believe that there is spirit and spirits among us. Energy does not die when you pass away it just gets transformed. That goes for people as well as animals. One of the strangest things that happened to me was when I was researching Jack the Ripper a few years back. I was in my living room with my computer. I had a candle fly off the mantle and fly across the room. So I said God Bless you and please be on your way. It stopped and nothing else happened. Thank you for another wonderful video ladies. Music. The idea is that your subconscious may pick up on things that your conscious mind doesn't. When you look at a brick wall your conscious mind only sees a brick wall. But your subconscious may see every brick in that wall. Under hypnosis people are often able to recall details they can't remember when they're awake.

My husband's grandmother could tell the best haint tales as she called them. Once she told us a tale she said was told to her by her own grandmother that took place right before the war between the states so I'm guessing 1860 or so. She said her great grandmother and grandfather worked in a logging camp deep in the foothills of South Carolina. It was her job to cook for the camp in a covered lean to or shed that was open on three sides . One day she had the evening meal of journey cakes and soup beans almost ready when she had to go carry a bucket of water from the spring. On the way back she heard an awful commotion at the shed that made her hair stand on end. It sounded awful and smelled worse. She sneaked around the shed and saw an awful sight. There stood a man covered in hair from head to foot all hunched down under the shed that she reckoned must be at least 8 or 9 foot tall... the shed was about 6 and it couldn't stand up under it.. it was holding the empty bean pot that had been boiling hot in its hand and had already eat the bread from the frying pan too. Well she said granny got so mad at seeing she would have to do her work twice that she grabbed a broom and went to whooping the daylights outta that hairy devil which took off like a shot never to bother them again. This was told to us in the early 70s before Bigfoot was a thing. Makes you think don't it? .

There were no boats going by. Suddenly I saw a gush of waves rising up in the middle of the water. It scared me. I was thinking oh no its Ogopogo. These waves came up for no reason and then settled down again. I never knew where they came from. And then the lake got quiet again. I still believe in Ogopogo.

What great stories & a great video idea. Was Austin talking about Buford, GA? My two boys are 33 & 34 and went to Grayson HS. They may be a little older than him. We’re in Lawrenceville now, not far from Buford. When I was nine, we were camping at a lake In Gainesville, GA & as I was laying in the tent looking out around sunset, I saw what I thought was a huge ape walking up the hill by the lake. He was quite a distance away, but I saw it turn around & look down towards our camping area. I didn’t know about big foot at that age, but now I’m pretty sure that’s what I saw. Lol, that’s my spooky story. Happy Halloween!

I was working in the area close to Asheboro NC that was part of the Uwharrie National Forest. I had head there was a old wooden covered bridge in the area ( Pisga Covered Bridge) so I decided I wanted to ride by there to see it. I drove over there and found the bridge , I was disappointed to see how much graffiti was painted all over it ( most of it was satanic type symbols etc) . I was there all by myself just looking around when as plan as day I heard a wind chime. It was a hot summer day and nary a breeze was stirring. I froze for a second and took stock of what I had just heard. I quickly decided I had seen enough of the old wooden bridge , I hopped in my car and got out of there as quick as I could . To this day I have no explanation of what I heard that day.

My daughter saw a mountain lion in the summertime on an old dark back road, about 20 miles from here and my friend saw one about two weeks ago, a bobcat, about 7 miles away from me. I think the wildlife-fish-and-game or whomever just don't want to admit it, but they might better start warning people that there have been wildcat sightings, before something really bad happens. Much love, many hugs!

When my grandma died, my baby sister went to the funeral home to fix her hair. She was a beautician. While she was doing that, the lights went out! Then at the funeral, a light bulb fell out of the chandelier and landed loudly in the glass fixture covering it!

Wonderful tales. Brought back some funny memories of being scared myself.
