Katie, I have a prayer request. You have a lot ofbelievers in prayer and we really need prayer for our g.grandson. He was born with a brain bleed and is a year old nit crawling, walking or talking. Now he is in a children's hospital in Atlanta with seizures. The doctors can't seem to find a medication to stop them. We need a miracle and I'm hoping that there are people who can pray the prayer of faith that can give him deliverance from these seizures. Thank you to everyone who prays because it is so appreciated.

Your parents seem to enjoy their time with the baby. I spent tons of time with my maternal grandparents. Those memories are some of my favorite memories of all of my entire lifetime, and I know grandparents would have said the same if they were still here, may they rest in peace. They were wonderful people.

Ive always wondered why people love snow. If you live in a place that doesn't get snow you are thankful because I definitely would crash my car. I definitely wouldn't have patience defrosting my car window when I go out. But having said that, you made it look so pretty. Grateful to be able to get carrots from under the snow. I never would have thought of that lol. Im glad you enjoy the snow and had fun sledding that was a good laugh. May your family be very blessed this year. It is extra bright at night when there's snow on the ground and a full moon! We love to hike with snow on the ground. We think it's extra quiet and peaceful with that blanket of snow. The weather is saying you guys are going to be playing in fresh snow again very soon. Being on the north facing slope, I'd get some chains on atleast one of your vehicle's tires ahead of the storm. They're super easy to put on and you won't slide aaaanywhere.

It does take many tries to find what works when using non dairy, wheat free, milk free egg free ingredients. Our chickens occasionally get treats that I don’t think are treats. I agree ginger would probably be good in those cookies.

Hi Katie, I'm not a fan of nutmeg either, good idea to omit it, you need to get one of those windshield covers for all of your vehicles but then again your mom said it hardly snows, but it would be nice not to have to scrape snow off your windheil, Love your post. Thank you for sharing.

For the last couple of decades, I’ve had a pair of Yaktrax. They are things that you can put on the bottom of almost any shoe. They aren’t expensive and they grip the ice really well. I would recommend them to anyone who has to walk down an icy driveway or through an icy parking lot.

The Creek has the most beautiful sound in the world, it sounds like it is telling stories and passing on news as it comes along. I love Binks, where did you get his name. Mine are Rory, Molly, Nigel and Momma. Oh if you did it with a shoval it would cut the carrots and doing things the hard way is more fun. Ah, the most beautiful Wolf Moon. Katie very nice video with the recipe i was wondering how it would be with cranberry and just a little brown sugar i don't like nutmeg i would leave that out but it does sound like it could be really good with some tweaking to your taste. Katie, I can't believe you haven't learned to drive stick yet. I figured you'd know that by now. Glad your neighbors were around to help you out so that you didn't slide off and hit that truck. 4x4 is definitely handy in that kind of weather. I have a Kia Soul which is 2 wheel drive, of course. Plus the front tires are getting bald. Thankfully the roads didn't get bad down here. Y'all need to get one of Elon's flame throwers to melt the snow and ice in that spot in the road. LOL Seems wild that you could be digging up carrots in January, and that they'd be easy to get out of the ground. Heat your skillet add some butter, make sure you have a hot pad for handle, twirl that butter, let it start to simmer add steak, heat on first side for time of doneness you like, flip to other side to finish.

Katie those look really good and I agree on the nutmeg i am more of a cinnamon person. I have been making cookies with almond flour and oats, almond butter, butter, nuts of your choice. And coconut sugar is lower glycemic and so good, so i sub that a lot in baking and cooking. I don't have allergies, i just wanted something with less wheat flour.
