Here’s what ThePrint’s Shahbaz Ansar found when he spoke to men in Delhi on the seventh anniversary of the gruesome Nirbhaya case, and why very few lessons have been learnt in this time.

There is no chance first of all, a rapist thinks what he is doing issnormal and people do it all the time. One read at the newspaper or news chaannell is enough to know it is not normal. There ae actual severe punishment for it and it is greatly looked down upon. Rapists do it in the fit of lust or some other personal reason, but being unaware of rape being something not normal is not one of them. Sex education is good. But it won't help rapists.
