Try to bring some Retired government officials who can testify how these laws saved Indians from numerous terrorist activities. Fear of UAPA is among the prime reason why youth is so terrified in joining ANti Indian Groups. Though it was an absolute pleasure to watch Sr. Adv. Tanveer Ahmed Mir he is amongst those ADV who has fought maximum cases relating to UAPA

Is it really? People who want to join Extremist groups will join it regardless of the law, they are motivated by ideology and not disuaded by the fear of the law. The fact of the matter is UAPA was used by the British to curtail dissent by our Freedom fight and the same tactics is used by the government to do the same. Anti Government is not anti India.

@@ArreSidu not every terrorist is swayed by ideology some people join because of hatred towards govt, some join for economic reasons, some join for political reasons and some come merely under peer pressure. For people like these UAPA Act as barrier.

Well Whole IPC didn't contain draconian laws , some of them are also adopted in BNS even Sedition law ( under section 152 , I.E implicit )which is much broader than IPC So what about that mate ​@@sachinnayal
