To answer your question. Menneske, means human while mand means man.... And kvinde means woman 😉 Something I really enjoy with this scetch, other than the fact that I think it's hilarious, is how well he captured the feelings of quitting smoking. As someone who used to smoke and went through this exact scenario multiple times. Keeping count of how long it's been down to the minutes, being unable to concentrate on anything, while someone else is smoking, the temptation when someone is offering you a cigarette. And giving in to temptation in the end. It's very wonderfully portrayed in that little scetch. Even the coughing at the end is reminicent of the last time I tried to stop, since I actually kept it up for several months, and then when I got a cigarette, there was a lot of coughing going on there😂

2:45 There are something to it. Revy, as the type of play are known as, here in Denmark. Have these type of sketches in them. But they also blend in elements from musical's. And as you know, Dirch toured with a troop early in his career. Much like this sketch.

Dirch Passer was also well known in Norway. He did the same skit in Norway with a well known Norwegian comedian playing the other part in 1980, the year Dirch Passer died.

Would that be Fleksnes? That person are or where well known in Denmark, back in the 1980's.

Charlie Chaplin startede what is called slap stick humor which this is not dirck did make some slap stick comedys but he was mostly an expression actor like Jim carey

Dirch was a no smoker. You can watch him a lot in "Cirkusrevyen".
