Great reaction! It is not without reason that many of us love Ylvis. They are amazing. The music video is available with English subtitles (UploadingFriend channel), but I guess you have already made the reaction video.

I love that you commented on ilya saying "full happy". That's such a silly thing to say, and us in the ylvis fandom still use that in our fandom-slang 😂 They still do Yanym in their concert today, in full kirgisistan outfits 😁

Yeah, it's insane, what they managed to do in such a short time 😄 I actually didn't realise that the song I sent didn't have english subtitles untill afterwards... Sorry about that, but yeah, the song is super great, even if you don't understand. On a later episode of their talkshow, they got a mail from a fan who met someone from Kirgisistan in Germany, and this person was confused why this person would know Ylvis since they were from Kirgisistan, so I'd assume from that, both that they definitely made it there, and that their pronounciation was good. But I obviously don't speak any russian, so that's just an assumption. You asked what they've been up to lately.... Thay had a show earlier this year called *Ylvis vs. Ylvis* where they are competing against each other in musical tasks, each with someone on their team. That show is also insane, since nothing is rehearsed beforehand, and everything is improvised. I'll probably request one of those episodes next month so you can see it. It's crasy. There will be another season of it next year. They also somewhat recently had a show called *Ylvis i Sogn* with their little brother where they had two weeks to make eight new songs. Vegard actually called Bård sadistic when he was told of that plan 😂 And of course in 2018 they did their show *Stories from Norway* which took a lot of headlines from Norway and made it into musicals/documentaries/comedy, which was also great. I saw an interwiev once where they said, they wanted to do a lot of different things, so I think the talkshow was the thing they did the longest for 5 years. Otherwise they just seem to jump from idea to idea. I loved the reaction 🤩

@@kindakooky5304 Absolutely.... Stories from Norway, would be a great reaction. Unfortunately of the ones I found, only one of the episodes has decente subtitles on it. It's the same with Ylvis vs. Ylvis. Only one of the episodes has any decent subtitles.... But I'm definitely going to request those, since they're amazing. And yeah Swahiliwood is great too. And then he could get to know Magnus a little bit too :)

These days Ylvis has a secret project going on. They have been written 40 (!) new songs for the project until now! (They have told fans, and also Bård talked about it on Tiktok - an answer to a question if they are making some new songs).

No, that's old. They made 40 songs for Stories from norway. They're done with that. They are recording a new season for Ylvis vs Ylvis now. That's a silly music gameshow.

they did make 40 new songs but they were for a scrapped project and they aren't allowed to release them due to copyright holders (think stories from norway but for a different country)

This entire show and the Ylvis brothers are interesting to me. Can feel like two rich boys making exploitation material from more a third or I guess with Kirgistan more second world country and people. They both grew in Africa I think with parents involved in humanitarian aid. Complicated. I think they skirted on the right side of the line.
