They not just did these massacred but much more, Read about artificial hunger & famine created by them in chennai, in Bengal & other parts of nation that resulted in death of millions...Read about what Wiston Churchill did, how all grown Crops by our ppl in india being sended to ppl in UK & to british side soldiers during WW2 while left 2M+ ppl die in lack of food coz of that...How much UK exploited India as their Cash cows during WW2, how they ended our own language & culture based education system, banned arts based subjects coz they needed labours specially skilled in stuff needed for their industrial revolution. But Well, India's struggles goes beyond britishers..It's 1000yrs. of struggles of suffering from Outside invadors whether portuguese, persian, mughal or any such islamic invadors...Our ancestors fought & died alot to protect not just our land, but our identity, our Culture, greatness of our civilization, Our Sanatan dharma too.

Subhash Chandra Bose was The Ultimate Guy. He knew Geopolitics, diplomacy, revolution, War Tactics and what not! He cleared British civil services with 4th rank in only 6 months while everyone else had to go through a 4 year course. He left the job immediately to serve his land. If he was alive then the British would have left the country like a homeless man.

India used to be the most artistic and richest country in the world. We always believed in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is one family). This is very unfortunate that both Mughal and British looted India which pushed India back that it took centuries to recover. Glad that India is on the right path to regain its lost glory. And am happy to see that you're learning history of India through such videos and our movies. Appreciate it😊

24:53 Biju Patnaik (who was air dropping pamphlets in Burma) was an ace pilot who founded his own airlines, Kalinga Airlines. He also was the first pilot to land in Indian forces in Kashmir when Pakistan attacked India in 1947. He also rescued Indonesian President Sukarno from Dutch Colonisers. He is considered to be one of the Architects of Modern India and the Odisha state

Another sad fact, the Indian national army was never supported by congress the party that got power on behalf of all country. But this army has crushed British soul. That’s why to not anger them, INC never listed any of their soldiers as freedom fighters. They never got recognition. No pension. Even in media or anywhere, they are forgotten heroes. Recently we have started celebrating them. With new government that’s Possible.

25:13 - *The Indian Naval Mutiny of 1946 (i.e. essentially the trained Indian armed forces fighting back with the army and air force following the Navy) is what gave us independence. The Indian Royal Navy went berserk (almost like pirates) and charged into British soldiers and officials killing hundreds in the process. There were 300 - 400 odd corpses lying in Mumbai and elsewhere in India. It turned out pretty bloody that the broken british troops (post WW2) couldn't muster up the resources or courage to fight a large India (pop. wise). This led to the crown to simply call off the rule and sent final viceroy to plead with the Indian National Congress to stop the war. They sent Sardar Vallabhai Patel whom promised the Indian Navy and mutineers a complete citizenship package which included houses and better living conditions if they gave up weapons. However the moment the mutineers laid down all their weapons trusting the INC, they under Nehru betrayed the mutineers by jailing them and worse..... they were made to disappear just like that off the face of Earth. Those whom did the Jallianwala Baugh Massacre also included Indians but they were given better living conditions and pensions instead of these stalwarts whom won India independence. This is the unfortunate and tragic story of Indian Independence. While the entire world thinks Gandhi is the sole cause for independence is wrong. The British, especially Winston Churchill quite openly said : **_"It is the Gandhi type of foes we require......"_** meaning that Gandhi was harmless and never did anything in violent revolt to the empire thereby turning the tide !* This is what it is all about. Plese try to learn a bit of Indian history and never go by Wikipedia sources. There are lots of books available.

Well we defeated the Portuguese too. They used to claim couple of territories known as Goa and Daman and Diu. After Independence our army attacked them sunk a destroyer of theirs and captured our territory back thus shattering their dreams of holding an overseas territory. They and big daddy US were mad at us for a very long time for what we did until they could not and today Portuguese PM is of Indian origin (both his parents were born in India) and American VP is of Indian descent. So I think we got back at them quite well😁😁😁

Yes... Hindu and Muslims used to live together before the British governance in India. The British divided people on the basis of religion, the result of which can be seen even today. Had Subhash Chandra Bose been the first Prime Minister of Independent India, there would have been no partition of India/birth of Pakistan.

7:08 yes. Before Partition of Bengal there was unity between Hindus and Muslims. For the major periods in Indian History communal peace has prevailed. It was shortly disturbed during the reigns of a few Muslim emperors but British colonial rule destroyed it to the extent of rioting and violence.

Gandhi had no role in Indian independence,he was just a stooge by Britishers. Fun fact,Indian national Congress was founded by Britishers only, they knew that they are not going to rule India forever, hence stalled the freedom for few more years through Gandhi and Congress. Read about Attlee, then British PM.He was asked about why did they left India and what was Gandhi's role in it? He smiled and said 'Minimal...we left India coz of the Subhash Chandra Bose and his army.We did not want fight another Indian national army' Another fact,Hindus and Muslims were never allies. We were fighting against the Muslim rule before Britishers entered into India.Only reason that Hindus and Muslims fought together in 1857 against Britishers was coz 'Enemy's enemy is your friend'.

Hey hi, yes even most Indians don’t know details, only our history curriculum teaches us some things, it’s vast history, cannot teach everything. This what you see is more condensed higher degree details. But in general atleast in my generation, movies weren’t first source of information, it was storytelling, my dad would tell me. It’s basically the national celebrations, the statutes around that make you wonder who these people are, that’s how my curiosity increased. Or the monuments museums we visit. Still for many these aren’t normal things. About Shivaji and dynasty’s in last I learnt since childhood very few details, but many celebrated Annecdotes from my grandpa. Today when I read entire book about these dynasties, it’s still that fascination of story that makes me read more. I mean stories get real intense when you realise that it’s actually a fact and has evidence to back it up. Also, British massacres are many, most Indians think it’s just Jallianwala, but it was a way for regional lieutenant to prove his hold over region, so happened in Gujarat, Maharashtra, begal obviously. Happened with tribes.

3:11 - If that what you said you really meant it - *Then complete boycott of films belonging to any segment/region of the Indian Film Industry that hurt sentiments of the people of India and their faiths and beliefs too is justifiable.* Mr. Aamir Khan was a highly respected actor of India and he has even acted as Shri Mangal Pandey the freedom fighter in a movie which went flop but we did go to see it ! Personally as a family we have always watched his films either in cinema halls or on TV sets but this *continued targeting of the Hindu faith* by the Indian Film Industry in almost *every film* and then the actors/actresses coming out and *defaming and mocking Hinduism out in the open* did trigger strong sentiments in us. This is why many people didn't watch the film out of those for whom the movie was not appealing. Hence I request everyone to kindly understand both the sides of the coin before commenting anything. Being a foreigner you wouldn't be abreast about the developments in the Indian Film Industry Sir and no one expects you to be. You watching any film is great and you should as you are taking that effort to popularize Indian cinema. However we have observed targeted harassment by the Film Industry since atleast the 70's but Hindus never said anything (they should have back then that was a grave mistake). Now people are recognizing they are just not watching that's all. Hence kindly don't call anyone : *Stupid, divisive and dividing the country etc.* when they decide not to watch the film as it was their own individual choice and know better why they did it.

yes she did and so did many women. India was where women fought next to their men. Yes there was peace within India muslims and hindus lived together it was the British who put a strategy of divide and rule which fuelled the situation of hatred between them. It is Genocide and to-date the British Government has not acknowledged this. In India as well Congress did not teach the true history of India and Bollywood shows Indian history twisted and false! Proud top be Indian. Jai Hind.
