Careful, Andrew G. Boyd is one of many beltway cyber policy consultants. I've never met him or am familiar with his specific background and work. However their is a large comunity of formally important people (FIP) types in this space who's prime focus is their consulting fee. Andrew's profile looks cool and I personally would love to meet him, but as a good journalistic bit of advice: Always be skeptical of anyone who's opening intro line is: "Ex-CAI officer" and they aren't 70 years old. The CIA will generally never confirm or deny claims people make.

@morRobots. I agree with you fundamentally, but this guy, unlike many others of his ilk, does seem to be able to communicate a conscious flow of pertinent info, without stammering & defaulting with “ I can’t speak to that, specifically,” with the innuendo of “I know, because I was important, but I can’t tell you” that so many of these ex CIA guys promulgate.

This was probably the vaguest more uninformative interview ever done by this channel. Very disappointing. Total waste of time.

Thanks for a succinct, pertinent discussion about the Middle East as seen from several viewpoints. I think we can all agree that Iraq was a simple money grab for Cheney’s Halliburton stock options via their no-bid multi billion $$ contract awards.

He admits he couldn’t criticize Iraq until he retired. That is institutional rot.
