To this day, so much controversy - about her, about property etc. All I can say is this: I have been to Mr. Schreiner's house twice - in 1997 and in 2002 following the annual Memorials held at Westwood. He opened his home to everyone and everyone I met there was extremely nice - fans (from all over the world), people from Marilyn films, industry people - everyone very gracious and kind. That's all. The MM mystique! Two days ago I saw a young woman (20-ish) wearing a Marilyn T-shirt. I know darn well that her mother probably had not been born until well after Marilyn died. Who else rates that kind of phenomenon?

Yes, definitely. No expert but had a bit of a Marilyn moment last year in lockdown and read a few books. Tried to read different approaches. I suspect medical blundering from her doctor. Interesting too that it was her housekeeper's very last shift and she reported the timeline all wrong. And the police found the washing machine on a cycle - at that time of the morning?? Medical enema leading to accidental overdose... I think, anyway. Poor, poor Marilyn

Good for Mr. Greg Schreiner! He is (in many ways!) honouring Marilyn's memory. I have a fairly small (but relatively good) collection of celebrity autographs - "playbills" and photographs, mostly of the big stars of yester-year, rather than today. A good friend got me interested some years back and I've greatly enjoyed it. And it can be a very good investment (!) certainly more than one will ever get via savings account at the local bank. A good many of my "finds" are framed - and up on my living-room wall. Why hide them in a dusty closet? Marilyn is a very high-ticket item as far as autograph collections go. Hmmm...I wonder if Mr. S. would trade my (1950) Mae West playbill (from"DIamond Lil") which has a very nice signature/note written by Miss West on the cover-page - for a "Marilyn" - "anything!" LOL! (I'm serious). Cheers to all!

Hello Nancy M: Not really, as I think the vast majority of thieves aren't very bright to say the least, and they wouldn't have a clue as to knowing anything about Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Joan Crawford and others from that era. No joke, a much younger person was over and pointed to the autographed, Joan Crawford "glossy" and wondered if that was my mother. I just said "no" and hoped he wouldn't start calling me "Christina." Of course, the joke flew over his head and I guess one has to be of a certain age to "get it" (like me!) LOL! Cheers from Niagara Canada!

I hope one day we can have a MM museum, that is after Anna Strasberg is long gone.

She actually accomplished her dream of being a major hollywood star, was friends with a lot of incredible people, not to mention slept with many of them, succeeded in becoming a good actress and an icon and was loved by many. I'm sure she had a lot of fun and happiness not available to ordinary people. And being that pretty must have brought her pleasure as well. She was lonely, but not unloved. I'm sure if she settled as easily as your average woman, or if her needs were as simple, she could easily end up marrying some nice average guy and had kids, if those are your criteria of happiness. She lived a short life, but it was fuller than most lives. And with her sensitivity, which made her what she is, perhaps it just had to be that way. Not ours to judge if she lived a bad life or not.

Buying memories very often could be good investment. So when somebody said it’s better to help poor people then spend money on MM dress I am not agree. Working hard we not only provide ourselves with food, house, car everything we need to have good life but many people like to have hobbies. Some people travel all the time, some collect shoes, bags, books, paintings, china..... some hobbies waist of money and some can be very profitable in the future. Even after 58 years MM still popular and many people would like to buy some her staff. This man not only has opportunity every day see and touch things MM owned, used, worn but any time he can sell and have money to live comfort life. Personally I help only animals shelters
