Good to hear this mate, I'm happy for you as you have worked so hard for this. It does make me realize how hard KZbin actually is and to be fair I do understand why people don't think it's a valid career as there is no fixed income. I think it's not going to be possible currently for me to grow my KZbin channel as i just don't have the left over money after my full time role for all the tech products I would need to buy to make enough content. I am still going to keep with it for now and just keep it ticking over as a hobby.

Sound advice. Too often people watch their favorite creators and think, "that's easy". All I need to do is upload some game clips, or whatever other content, and I'll be making money. Truth be told, that was exactly the mindset I had when I started my own channel. How hard can it be? Let's just say I'm glad I was between jobs at the time because it isn't easy. I decided to make some videos on how to stream with a Mac... because, well, that's what I was doing. Thought I'd share the process and show others how to get up and running if they were using a Mac instead of a Windows-based PC. Well, it wasn't easy. I spent HOURS recording, re-recording, editing, etc. Once I finally had my video, I uploaded it. I figured this was it. I'd be making money in no time. Thought for sure I'd have thousands of views nearly instantly. After all, there are millions of people watching KZbin. It's been 5 years since I published that first video, and to date it only has just over 10,000 views. Now, granted, I ended up putting my KZbin channel aside to focus on my new job. I simply didn't have enough hours in the day for both - and KZbin certainly wasn't going to be paying my bills. I suppose the one benefit I got from it was being prepared to work from home when certain events took place around the world in 2021. Oh, that is another pitfall - thinking "if I just had X piece of technology, that will make my channel better". I bought a good camera, lighting, green screen, a professional audio setup, etc for my fledgling KZbin channel. If my video quality is better, I'll get more views. If my audio quality is better, I'll get more views. If I have the green screen, I'll get more views. So, if anyone has made it this far, my advice is this: you might get lucky and upload some content that instantly makes you a star, just like you might get lucky and win the big lottery prize. However, it is far more likely that you are going to put in a LOT of work and a LOT of time before you reap any reward. So, be prepared to work extremely hard and be prepared for failure and be prepared to learn from those failings and improve. One final thing: have a very thick skin - you're going to need it when the keyboard warriors inevitably land in the comment section.

Subbed, your reviews and especially the multiple builds of the EVO XL are great! So much effort and you help do many people make their purchase and know whats right for them! Of course thats a job! It takes a certain skillet and effort to do this job and I greatly appreciate it. Not many reviewers will do multiple layouts of one case like you did and I think that is really helpful! Anyways I do have one question given your experience with the XL, did your XL cases come with a white box that had extra mesh panels in it? I have seen other reviewers open the box and it had that but when I got my EVO XL yesterday it was missing that and I'd really like to have it at the bottom to cover 120 fans air gap.

There is a KZbinr names ThatMumboJumbo that started KZbin when he was 16 and worked hard at it. He is 28 now and has 9.29M subs. Some things that people don't consider with a YT job vs a traditional job is that you considered self-employed. Therefore, you need to pay your own taxes (a lot), medical, dental, and vision insurance (at least in the US, a lot), and other things. That money you get from YT is spread pretty thin.
