I just received mine and thought I'd share my thoughts with anyone still considering this case. One thing to note is that this now comes with the Commander Pro pre-installed (although this is not reflected in the manual or product information). This is an added bonus in my opinion and does help justify the price of the case. Build quality is decent, but personally a step down coming from a Phanteks Evolv ATX tempered glass. Transitions and the fit of pieces of plastic seems slightly off. The thumbscrews to close the metal side panel does not appear 100% aligned, making it fiddly to find the screw holes to reattach the panel. The difficult access to the dust filter in front - and the top, should you choose to install it - appears backwards, and I can see how it may be irritating if you like to keep those filters clean. The glass, hinged door and overall look of the case is great however, and makes for a real easy build.

Hey pal. Been watching your videos for a while now and bought alot of stuff you've recommended or reviewed. Another quality video here. 1 question that intrigues me is whether or not the GPU being vertically mounted and the fans being so close to the glass window effects the cooling of the GPU?

Honestly I didn't notice an issue. You can mount intake fans on the bottom to pull cold air up. Plus loads comes from the front. I don't use the vertical mounting anyway as it doesn't fit with the m.2 expander unfortunately. But I had no problems when I did and doubt Corsair would design a case with that feature if it would cause issues.

Pleasant review, can you please tell me if the dust covers are plastic or metal? because usually metal covers turn to rust and is the metal case is it white matte or glossy white? I believe a glossy finish is easier to clean and the dust doesn't get stuck like my older case, if you give me that information i would appreciate it.

The top dust filter you can fit if you remove the top fans with the tumbscrews. When you take it away you can fit the dustfilter on top. Then you place it back and make it fit with the tumbscrews

Have a question on the vertical GPU mount. I can see that you lifted the GPU and attached it to the case. DId you use the corsair vertical mount? because for the corsair you would need to mount it to the bottom of the case. Stock? That doesn't come with the case I'm afraid. It has a decent amount of room. I had no issues with airflow.

Thanks for the fantastic video! Could you do a video on how you deal with the lighting/fans? I am considering this case, but am wondering how to deal with the sheer number of fans. I would like a setup like yours, with a total of 6 case fans and 2 AIO fans. My motherboard only has 2 USB 2.0 connectors, and as far as I understand I will need a minimum of 3? 1 for the RGB-hub, 1 for the AIO and 1 for a Commander Pro (or other fan-hub)? Alternatively I need splitters to connect the case fans directly to the motherboard. A video on RBG/fan manageement or a response would be much appreciated.

Are the LL 120 fans at the bottom set up for exhaust? I am thinking of getting this case, and want to orient the fans to blow on the GPU by bringing in air from the bottom, but the "light ring" for the LL fans would be facing down, if I understand correctly. Am I wrong? Thanks!

Yeah, they're setup for exhaust on mine. You are right, the lighting part would need to face the bottom - so you wouldn't benefit from the RGB lighting. I wouldn't like to suck cold air from underneath the case - however, the dust tray is decent and removable, so you could do it easily enough and keep it clean.

One is RGB one is power. The best thing to do (especially if you are adding more fans) is to get a Commander Pro. The power then connects to that and the RGB cable connects to the Lighting Node Pro (I believe they're already plugged into that as standard?)

You can fit it under the top mount. You have to take that out first. I was being daft. Remove the thumb screws to take the fan tray out and it fits in there. Not sure why I couldn't do it the first time.

Depends on your setup. I used all three - the fan hub, rgb hub and Commander Pro. The pro has the fan power cables, while the rgb hub has the rgb cables then connects to the pro via the led input. There are guides on CORSAIR's forum and Reddit to help with the right setup depending on the number of fans and led strips you have.

@@TheProvokedPrawn what did you have to get extra that didnt come with the case, cause I was under the assumption it came with everything needed to hook up AT LEAST 6 fans and an AIO. I dont have any LED strips nor do I want any because my fans are more than enough... I mean I guess if I have to I can always pick up more, but since I just spent $254 on this case I'll probably contact Corsair if it doesn't include everything I need, considering I spend $120 on H100i Pro XT 240mm, the black Corsair Crystal 680x with 3 x Corsair LL120, and I ordered another set of 3 Corsair LL120s for $95 to go with it. So over $500 in just a case/cooling ecosystem. Worth it, as long as it all works.

The Provoked Prawn and the top fans and rear fans are exhausting air, hot air rises , bringing in air from the front and bottom should then be exhausted by the top and rear , look online at a few 680x builds , the majority have the bottom as intakes , of course it is esthetically better looking having them with the light ring on top , but they are not being fully put to use as exhausting fans

Bear in mind you can use fan splitters. But you'll also need to think about usb headers on the motherboard. If you're going for RGB fans, the control boxes take up USB headers.

Jendrik Reiß the top filter, you have to mount it from the inside of the case.. just undo the two screws on the inside of the case where you would install a radiator and stick the filter on top of it.
