That team member is awesome who announced pet peeves’ name! We encountered her twice during our trip last week and she was such a pleasure both times!! Saw her in Madame Malkins and Borgin and Bourkes! Also, my husband, dad and I received Rubeus passes on our last night in the park because there were technical difficulties. I hope my dad who lives in Florida goes back to the park to use them before they expire!

I work at the park. Actually even if the pass does expire, you still get a certain grace period that you could use them. Hagrid’s will either directly replace the ruby pass or if it’s a bit longer than guest services will replace it. Can’t wait too long though, then it’s truly expired

Had a bad experience with another guest in the queue for Hagrids and ended up with 8 of those passes between 2 of us! Obviously used them all on Hagrids and Velocicoaster! Also at the time we used them there was no express lane open for Velocicoaster so that was pretty cool that they let us on.

I got 6 ruby passes once. We were 6 persons and when we arrived at the Park, there was a security barrier in our Park tickets and we had to wait around 30 minutes in the help line. The lady was super nice and gave us these passes for the troubles

We got the Sapphire pass (we thought it said Sapphire). We were waiting in line at Hagrid's and it delayed. We stayed on until they kicked us out and they gave us one. Two things I wish I knew- my son got a Pygmy puff, but we had no idea about naming it! That is so cool. I got the Ruby express pass when I visited in September 2021. Hagrid's broke down while I was riding for my first time. I then used the pass to ride again that afternoon, only for the ride to break down in the exact same spot lol. I received another pass, but wasn't able to use it because I had to go home. So I've only experienced Hagrid's twice, and both times I received a "rare" item lol

You just give it to a TM at the front and they’ll tell you what to do! We still haven’t used our Ruby’s yet, but we promise that’ll work! Lol

You take the ruby pass and enter through the Hagrid exit. There will be a cast member there to check it and another to take it. The handicap entrance is there too. It puts you in the room right before the loading room, so basically a 15 min wait. Guest relations can also give these out and when they do it will be in the form of a printed receipt that says it is a "Single Attraction Pass X" pass. Oddly it was not valid on the Flyers and the Mummy (?), but valid for Hagrid. It will have an expiration date, but I'm sure they will honor it if you use it another day. We got one on a Sunday that expired that day, but ended up using it on a Thursday (wanted a big long line in the middle of the day) with no problem. Worst case would be going back to guest relations where they would trade you for an unexpired one I'm sure. I dont think the actual ruby pass has an expiration date.

There is a highly specific area inside of JP Kid Zone -- me and a partner were inside of it for maybe 15 minutes, surrounded by kids who never found us. Shadows of groups of children were before our eyes, like we were in Platos Cave. Interesting to be somewhere in The Park, but to be hidden for so long. I won't reveal the spot, but I will give the hint that we were inside of a structure. JP Kid Zone is easily one of the best parts of the park as a whole, and one of the best themed areas in any park. I wish the entire park could be an experience like this. As far as Dolewhip goes, its important IMO because it's probably one of the better frozen treat experiences a gluten/dairy free person can have.

That’s a great point about it being dairy free! We love camp Jurassic for the same reason, too. It’s like you’ve been transported somewhere different entirely!!

Back in covid times when Hagrid's was just virtual lines, my phone wouldn't show wait times or let us use the virtual que. They gave us Ruby passes for it, but our trip was over. We specifically booked a trip the next year to use them. It was amazing!
