I would add to do Velocicoaster and Hagrids at the end of the night right before close. Hagrids especially because they staff will push people through quicker so they can leave and the wait is normally half of the posted time

Great tips as always! I too wear my sunglasses when I sleep because my future is that bright lol. A tip I'd add is if EPA is at IOA get there 30-60 minutes (depending on the time of year and park hours) before EPA starts & head straight to Hagrid's followed by 1-4 rides on the Velocicoaster (depending on wait time). My wife & I also eat a small breakfast while in line for EPA

My favourite tip that served us well is to take one of those cooling towels that stay wet and cold for ages especially during the summer months. Being from the UK we are not equipped for the Florida summers and to me it felt like being on the surface of the sun 😂😂, the cool towel helped for sure.

I was there Oct. 20 and there was hardly no crowd especially when the park first opened so I didn't need early park admission. I'm lucky I don't bring much stuff in the park, just my water bottle and a few snacks and of course my purse. The weather for the 20th of Oct. was a bit cool especially first thing in the morning so you have to make sure you check out the weather and be prepared.

My favorite tips are: wear comfortable running shoes and socks, bring only a belt bag with necessities: Band aids and a collapsible water bottle (found in running stores) to fill up with free water at fountains and freestyle machines, after you get ice cream at FF’s go out to London and sit on the grassy patch next to the knight bus, heavenly!

Mobile is fine! We were just referencing people who choose the “will call kiosk” option where you have to physically pick them up. Those lines can be really long and take up precious park time! If you’ve got them on the app, you’re good to go!

I can definitely speak to the shuttle service at off site hotels. They can be very limited. Dockside Inn didn't have any rooms for 1 night of our 4 night vacation so our 1st night was at Comfort Inn. The last bus back to the hotel was at 7pm and the park didn't close until 9pm. We always stay until close so sadly we missed time in the park. At Dockside inn it seemed like they had buses running constantly.

Love all your Universal videos. We will be making our very first visit at the end of next month staying at Cabana Bay! I have two questions, that I hope you can answer! I know in a past video you talked about being able to use the boat at Sapphire Falls to get to the park while staying at Cabana Bay - is that still an option? I see some people say, yes it's not a problem and others say that they check hotel keys. I'm hoping we are able to take advantage of the boats! My second questions, do the freestyle locations have iced tea as a choice?

I've stayed at Aventura many times this year and either walked the garden pathway or taken the boats and not once did I see anyone checking room keys. I think you're fine if you want to take the boat.

No one checks keys, you can literally take the boats from whatever hotel you want and no one will be the wiser. On your second question, I can personally confirm, as an iced tea connoisseur, they do! It is Gold Peak Iced Tea. I believe it is available in unsweet, sweet and half tea, half lemonade options. Definitely iced tea is available though! I will be drinking a ton of it on my next trip.

Here’s a list of the areas that were suggested to us when we moved down! Most of these are within 30 minutes of UO depending on the traffic. Dr. Phillips, Windermere, Williamsburg, Winter Garden, and Clermont. I’m sure there are others, those are just the suggestions we got!

Had no idea about the refrigerated medications, that's cool that they do that and it spurred a thought I've had for awhile, who knows as I may have brought this up before and just don't remember, but have you two considered doing a video with the focus on the accommodations, services, and potential issues for those with disabilities? I never see anyone try it as a focus and I know it wouldn't be easy but just a thought.

Haha we just looked up the locker dimensions online and then got one roughly that size. This one is a camera bag, but if you get any medium sized soft backpack and don’t overfill it, you should be good!

We booked at Airbnb nearby for our 10 day Orlando trip because the cost of staying on site was 5 times the amount of the airbnb. We needed a rental bc we are going to the beach and sea world, but we booked 5 days at universal (2 days of fast passes) and 2 days at Disney. I’m wondering if 5 days will be overkill for Orlando.

RE: Coke Freestyle Cup - I use a silicone collapsible cup I bought for $4 on Amazon. Easier to carry (in fanny pack / pocket) and water is free.

Haha nope! If there’s liquid in them, they’ll make you pour it out (could be alcohol), but that’s it! You can even bring sealed bottles of water, Gatorade, etc. with you!

CityWalk does not! You will have to pay to park your car at CityWalk if you drive, but it’s very similar to Disney Springs. No admission required!

The only hotels that have the water taxis are Portofino bay, Royal pacific, hard rock, and Sapphire Falls. The rest of them have a walking path and/or busses!

It depends! March is when some schools have spring break, so those weeks can be hectic. The weather is usually great, too! Warm, but not to the point it’s miserable yet.

Good to know they keep meds cool because my daughter will need that for her insulin. Whonder if they will let her bring her phone on the ride since it connects to her iPod which is connected to her skin.

She’ll be able to bring her phone on everything except the coaster that you have to go through metal detection for! (Hulk, Velocicoaster, and Rip Ride Rock It). I can’t imagine they would make an exception on those rides, since it’s due to the safety of other passengers and park goers.
