I think Scantling's biggest issue is attacking the football; almost all of his drops come from when he tries to let the ball come to his arms and he's almost not ready to secure it as a result. On the first touchdown you can see he uses his hands to go up and get it and on the second one he tries to let the ball hit him in a cradle. Which is fine if you're playing casually in your backyard or in middle school, but that will always be a weakness of MVS until he attacks the ball. He has everything else figured out from route running to separation to the contested catch ability, if he figures out how to haul those in consistently this is an offense that can and will win super bowls.

"That was suboptimal in every way" Lol.. JT you're a gem. What a classy way to say, this was a disastrous play. (I'm referring to the Go-route by MVS) The announcers yelled this out the moment after the play... Why is an LB in the B gap covering MVS as the #2? MVS is pretty much ALL go routes.. it's what he does. He did it again later in the game, but dropped the pass. I guess playing D vs GB is like pick your poison. JT the bears have a well renowned defense. What happens on plays like these? Is the D play caller just being stubborn? Is he trying to play chess and outwit GB? Gambling because it's GB and they need momentum and points badly? Seemed strange to make such a glaring mistake. Also, are you excited for the playoffs in the Frozen Tundra? I personally am thrilled. It stings a little that the games can't be attended (with good reason) but I'm just happy to see the Pack with a shot, and a good shot, as they've been showing very strong in the last couple games. GB Superb Owl will make my year. Thanks for making such great content!!! Go pack Go. Edit: Whoopsed, I commented at like 5min in the video. Just watched the rest.

Man, I feel like beginning of this season these comment sections weren’t nearly as poppin’ its great to see the rise. I don’t claim to know anything but it really looks like the Bears linebackers are confused about what they’re supposed to do. I don’t know if that’s just because of how players seem to react to A Rod or what. Seems like his play style throws a lot of people for a loop, but it’s surprising to see a division rival seem so... uncertain of what to do.

Great video, no doubt, but I was hoping you would analyze three dropped interceptions by the Bears. Why did Rodgers make those throws? Is it because he was processing the plays too fast? Those plays would be awesome to break down.

@@TheQBSchool Yes, of course. This game is more an indictment of Chuck Pagano's incompetence as a defensive coordinator than of Rodgers greatness. Or maybe Pagano is great (doubtful) but he has been saddled with very dumb players by Ryan Pace, espec once Roquan left the game. Also, was there a rule change I missed, is bump n run no longer allowed? I see Kyle Fuller on that last TD just standing in front of Adams like a chump, it used to be you would jam the receiver at the line, challenge him and disrupt the play's timing...Rodgers threw 3 pases that should've been picked, and 2 of his 4 TD passes where to wide open receivers who beat laughably bad coverage from Bears linebackers....Trubisky played a good game, at one point he had completed like 20 of 21 passes, he threw a beautiful deep strike to Mooney right as he got hit because Allen Robinson did a very half-ass job of chipping the pass rusher, he also had another deep strike to ARob who caught it one handed amidst an uncalled pass interference, he had another big play miss because the idiot WR Javon Wims ran the wrong route. Dorks will only look at the final stats, but if someone's takeaway from the game is "Trubisky sucked hurr durrr" , he doesn't know crap about football. Probably the same fantasy football geeks who told me David Montgomery wasn't any good because he was only getting like 60yds per game, and I would tell them "I actually watch the games, and I'm telling you he is solid." Turns out I was right, and I'm right about Trubisky as well -No, he will never be an MVP caliber QB, but he has a lot of heart, mental toughness, and you can win with him.

Word! Pagano is not known around the league as a great (or even a good) X's and O's guy. Pagano is an inspirational leader and a really good guy. The bears D cannot make simple adjustments. From top-to-bottom the Packers are a better organization than the Bears and Rodgers will continue to beat us until the McCaskeys sell

Kyle fuller is never physical on the line, prefers to play 7-8 yards off the line and then drive hard on an out-breaking route usually, sometimes leads to red zone disasters like this one

Absolutely wild that we're at the point in the NFL where a running back does something only 7 others have ever done in the history of the league and wont win MVP. If you're an offensive player that isn't a QB you've basically got no shot at this award, ever. I have zero problem with Rodgers winning BTW. When you look at the word valuable though, I think Henry was more valuable to his team - and their wins - than any other player this year. I know I'm in the minority thinking that way, and that's okay.
@sedkibenhaouala47494 жыл бұрын
Rodgers did something no one did before let alone 7 people. 48tds and 5int is out worldly.. Keep in mind he led the league in completion percentage at 70.7 so he wasn't avoiding picks. Henry allen and mahomes would've been mvps any other year but 121.5 passer rating second highest in league history is not something you see everyday

@@sedkibenhaouala4749 Like I said, I have no problem with him winning. Henry is only the 2nd RB ever to have 2K and 15+ TDs, too (TD won the MVP that year he did it). He's just unlucky it was this year.
@VicInNocal4 жыл бұрын
@@jsenigaglia All offensive stats are inflated nowadays, EXCEPT for running backs, which makes Henry an even greater anomaly. Brady just threw 4600yds and 40TDs. Russ Wilson hit 40 TDs. Josh Allen monster stats, Herbert just had the best rookie QB season, even a guy like Matt Ryan put up numbers that back in the day would've gotten Favre an MVP.
@ichbinzwardummaber4 жыл бұрын
@@jsenigaglia In my opinion, Henry is a step behind Rodgers because its difficult to say that he carried this offense in view of the fact that Ryan Tannehill and the rest of the offense had such an amazing season. Not trying to disrespect the king, he's a huge part of their success, but it's harder to argue for him than for example Adrian Petersons 2k yards MVP. He had Christian Ponder as QB (18 TDs, 12 Int, 81 Rate) and everyone knew without AP they would have been absolute trash and that's why he got mvp over Rodgers and Brees (and they dominated that season).
