Pros: Incredibly fast, strong arm, very durable, gets better as game progresses, never gives up Cons: Holds on way to long to the ball and takes unnecessary sacks. Takes off running after first read. Doesn’t set his feet, very inaccurate, throws too much of a fastball on short to intermediate routes, throws into double coverage, running will expose him to injury, lacks touch (fastballs), poor mechanics at times with feet (heel click, throws off back foot), shoulders and arms, makes me sometimes think of Johnny Manziel when pocket breaks down

With a totally decimated team....lamar was top 10 passing and rushing until he started playing hurt his last few games and was LEADING THE AFC this year before he got injured for good. Allen with a better roster, fully healthy team, a no 1 fully heatlthy defense and weaker schedule couldnt match him and same with pat (minus the defense).

I’m sure he’ll get to next year’s qbs. Slovis, Howell, Rattler (who he is doing), spencer sandwrs(love Spence), etc. the QB class next year is great for WFT As there are sooo many fucking rookie QBs right now so some QBs will fall.

@@tw8444 Interesting you mentioned that. It really is. Ron mentioned there was a few QBs in this recent draft he had his eyes on. I'm sure it was Trey Lance and Justin Fields. When both were gone, I'm sure he didn't want to get a QB for the sake of getting a QB. The 2022 class has some good ones, as you mentioned. Sam Howell, Spencer Rattler, Desmond Ridder, Malik Willis and a few others. Honestly, I believe we'll have a better season than people think. Realistically, I believe Willis or Ridder is more realistic. Sam Howell is my favorite. We won't be getting him, though.

Good athleticism but nothing on tape suggests to me hes got the same sub 4.3 speed vick had or that ELITE quickness. Good athleticism, but nowhere near Vick. Even vicks arm talent was better too. Where this guy lands will make or break him.

I did realize though the scrambling ability looks much close to watson than Lance or Vick. I like him as a player and wouldnt mind the saints drafting him or desmond ridder if either one fell to us at #50 in the second round.

A much more athletic slightly bigger PJ Walker. Both have those wow plays that no one can make and then all the same....those ohhhh nooo plays. As a Panthers fan, if we could trade back and with the extra pick try to get him if he’s there in the 2nd round. I’d almost be cool with that. Been saying we should wait until 2023 for QB as we prioritize OL but that 4.3 speed Malik has is hard to come by. Per usual, great content from The QB School! 🔥

Would love to see him in Indy. Great fit. Running first team, with a QB first coach, and culturally is a perfect fit. RPO’s could be nuts with JT. Great offensive line. Receivers are good blocking down field to spring him when he takes off on a roll out. He’s projected to go close to the colts 2nd round pick. Gives him a great chance to succeed in an overall weak division. Recipe for success for sure.

Can we get a breakdown of Dylan McCaffrey? I know he is transferring, but he has excellent mobility and a solid arm. Has the frame to add weight and get stronger too. He is a sleeper. Carson Strong could be a 1st round pick. Not terribly mobile, but he has a huge arm. He would be another good one.

He's like a Russell Wilson-Ben Roethlisberger hybrid. Russell Wilson because of his shorter stature, dual threat ability and yet the ability to throw the ball 60 or 70 yards down the field even with a smaller stature. He also reminds me of a young Ben Roethlisberger because of his ability to extend the play, make defensive players miss, pump fakes, stiff arms, etc.

Hurts is not the natural passer that Willis is but they both move really well, especially in the open field. If Hurts plays well, it’ll help Willis stock even more since that’s his comp. This Monday will go along way for Hurts on the show case game on MNF. I think Hurts will play well and I don’t have a rooting interest. People only remember the Hurts from last year, he has improved by leaps and bounds. The QBR, RTG and Fantasy numbers love Hurts but Philly’s very young core playmakers are growing each game.
