Hey QG if you're still interested in the idea of the Rush Duel format possibly coming over to the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. Here's the info from what I've heard from reports, and read on the fan-forums basically Konami of America did sign a Patent Trademark for the Rush Duel format with some fans thinking this evidence that the Rush Duel format is coming to the TCG, and some fans thinking Konami will just sit on it. Now it was revealed Konami does have plans to bring the Rush Duel format to the TCG, along the with releasing the English Dub of the Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens anime with the time table initially being the Rush Duel format joins the TCG at the end of this year, and the English Dub of the Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens anime arriving early next year, but the current global situation has force the plans to be delayed into pretty much next year for bringing the Rush Duel format into the TCG, and releasing the English Dub of the Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens anime.

Darkstalkers is such a fun and interesting series that Capcom has zero excuse to not bring it back, especially since even Megaman and DMC are making a comeback. Would totally love to see the cast again especially Morrigan FINALLY has a 3d model. Just saying having a new game in the series would be great since Capcom is doing a soild job with everything else!

The sad thing is that they can make a fourth game, with new stories, and a roster of additional characters. Characters with unique abilities and gimmicks that can match the theme. Unfortunately, we can only dream.

Yup, and that was MORE notorious in the crappy Capcom Fighting Evolution (Jam) game, were all of them felt wrong (but I can't deny I liked the idea of playing as 2 of the Red Earth bosses).

On what Capcom is going right now is the easiest and the safest on what made them money this is proof on Street Fighter & Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan), as for their other franchises it was a gamble on them.

If only the lousy higher ups would let the creative teams make Darkstalkers 4 happen because the fans want it to happen and Capcom lets the characters in most of the crossovers they appear. (At this point, I wouldn't mind the final character of Smash Ultimate being Morrigan.) Sadly, Yoshinori Ono was the one that wanted Darstalkers 4 to happen before his departure...If only we knew HOW far not in the ballpark Resurrection's numbers were. Might as well hope what a fan did for the Super Fighting Robot can also thrive for the Creatures of the Night with a fan sequel of their own for Dimitri and company. At that point, all I have to say is..."Your move, Capcom." Also, Censorship is also a thing to be feared...and to be broken by defiance.

Yeah, dude, i don't even know if Capcom would even ressurect that considering that they only consider Darkstalkes a convinient half dead horse and that they only use some of its characters like Morrigan as a fan service manouver for when is about crossovers. And mostly not so good crossover. I still hopes that they would even consider to ressurect it. And if it ever happen, i expect them to introduce new characters, like a rusalka, a yuki onna, a demonoid, an horrific undead angel, a golem, a gorgon, an arachne with Vega fighting stile, an harpy with Juri fighting style and a terrific eldricht lovecraftian horror who is controlling the situation from behind the scenes to consume everything it can. And speaking of crossovers there are three things that would never happen: Tatsunoko vs World Heroes, Killer Instinct vs Mortal Kombat, and Marvel and Capcom vs Ark System Works.

@@deciduous_reaper yeah but i was considering mythological, classic and even variable horror genre rather than slasher villains although they are still good choices depending on personality, backstories and nature. If they had to be included, they should at least be interessing, like the clown being a necromancer remblembling both marilyn manson and the joker and the hokey maniac an bioweaponized human sane anti hero from the future. But why stop here? There are other character choices like a humanoid amphibious scylla, an oni, a feathered winged snakeman that almost resembled quetzalcoalt and an human hellhound hybrid vigilante who happens to be both the pope's secret half brother and a self taunted pro wrestler having his girlfriend kidnapped and beating the fuck out of his opponents even if it happens to be Pyron or Jedah.

In all honesty, I don't really care that much to have a Darkstalkers 4 as there really isn't much elsewhere the series can go, gameplay- or story-wise. And a remake would likely kill a lot of the appeal of the originals. I just want an updated DS3 that actually has a proper story resolution. Plus, it sucks that we never got an overseas release of the PS2 Darkstalkers Collection. Also, my gurl Hsien-ko ("shen-ko", BTW; shame on you for mangling her) and Donovan, despite their undead origins, aren't actually Darkstalkers, but Darkhunters. And the name wasn't the only thing censored about English DS3 on the PS1 and Saturn; Capcom literally pulled a Mortal Kombat: Competition Edition for some insane reason and "whited out" the blood. And DS Chronicle is an expanded version of the Japanese DC-only Vampire Savior release that was only available via mail order.
