My mother-in-law taught me that frying sound trick. It crackles a lot when there is still a lot of moisture and then the sound reduces down a lot once the moisture is gone and, therefore, everything is finally crispy 😄 I love how you can transform a ranch dressing mix into something spectacular 😀 ❤❤❤

You are so creative and thrifty, I am simply amazed how you can creative delicious, beautiful meals from leftover items on hand! Those meals are of the quality that one would go and buy the ingredients , just to create those amazing meals! You should teach a "Homekeeping Master Class", you would get both new and 'seasoned' people flocking to it!!👍😍

Once again, I think it is so awesome how you show everyone how to utilize what they have. I am having pork chops, applesauce and sweet potatoes this week too! My Grandson comes for dinner every Thursday evening after pre-school and he will be a fan of the dinner, plus he is gluten and dairy free and this is an easy dinner to modify. Have an awesome week!

Glucommanan is the most amazing thickener. It is all fiber (knojac root) no carbs. I use in shakes, puddings, gravies, stews etc. Also, a nice warm bacon dressing is amazing on spinach. I fry bacon and use the grease with sweetener and some ACV to taste...toss the spinach add red onion and crumbled bacon.....YUMMY :-) I love your menus

I agree I always admire it. Nurses always have beautiful handwriting. I worked with several over the years in my long term pharmacy job I always commented on it and they said you need to be able to read the charts and neat handwriting is a must.

First time commenting but have been watching for a couple for years I think. Did the fried chicken with the wheat protein isolate not work out? You didn't show it so I thought maybe it was a bust. Have you ever added a splash of vanilla to your applesauce? It is my secret ingredient to all my canned applesauce, peaches, and pears. It just takes it up a notch. Good job using everything up and not having food waste. I am confused about how many people you are feeding. A long time ago you said 10 but I believe you have 3 boys. Sorry for being nosey. I have 4 boys I feed and an ultra marathon running husband. The kitchen is never closed. LOL

You are amazing....great plan & cooking. Does your family like seafood? I notice you fix tuna, but don’t see much else in your videos....was just curious of your meal plans surrounding seafood. I mostly eat poultry & seafood & was looking for ideas. A house of men might negate that plan. Growing up, mostly men were the makeup in my family.....now, I notice my Sister & I eat primarily seafood, other than all the beef & pork growing up that our Mom prepared.

Are you following keto? I knew you mentioned it back aways, but not seeing any reference to your progress. I have been on it over 8 months, #40 gone. I do not do strict, I take keto holidays every 2 wks for 2 days & I do 16 HR fasts. Would like to see progress report on how you are doing. TY & good luck!

Can you explain how you selected your collection of Keto Books? Are you planning to bring new recipes for the year 2019? I have done most of your recipes with the exception of the ugly duckling as you called them. You know that AMAZON is coming with their own groceries stores after they bought the Whole Fresh stores?
