He has never had any vocal lessons and was homeless at age 7 living off the streets of the Phillipines! God has given him such an amazing gift and he has made the most of it with lots of practice. He was 18 when he discovered he could sing the high "female" voice. He is totally amazing! I just love him! OK Phillipines lets vote for Contestant #2 Marcelito!! Let's GO!!

At the end he had been teased about his high voice by the engineers & was spitting it out. Great video. I challenge anyone to do a better job than what he has done. Your pronunciation was perfect. Listen to him on AGT singing the Prayer along with the judge’s reactions & also singing “The Beauty & the Beast”. Look forward to hearing your reactions.

Nothing to do with any "God", it is all Marcelito's natural talent. If it is what you say, then your "God" is pernicious because the "blessing" of talent is not bestowed on everyone. Therefore, it is down to genetics and natural selection.

Some try to compare Marcelito with Dimash, but how do you compare one singer whose been classically trained since childhood with Marcelito who is totally self-taught? He's a very humble man who tries to help the less fortunate. Please listen to him sing Con te Partiro on America's Got Talent. It's equally incredible!

He is singing (while seated) in a studio in a bus with traffic outside. He is singing BOTH parts of THE PRAYER. He is singing in English and Italian, neither of which is his native language. He has never had a singing lesson. AWESOME

What's astounding too, is he was deserted by his mom when he was two, adopted but by 7 yrs old he running the streets. Got odd jobs, sang to chickens and self-taught. I think God picks his most meek & humble to do great things. America's got talent fourth place. Today he's number one!

I may take that prediction back. Although this video is getting far more views than all the others combined, the number of likes isn’t scaling. With far fewer views, Pentatonix is catching up.
