This young man here has done himself proud, from being abandoned on the street by his Mother at age 7, and his Father being in prison, he taught himself how to sing like this. Marcelito is the true definition of perseverance and determination, a true beacon of light to all of us in the world. This man had absolutely nothing but he took what he had and made something of himself, that is success in a nutshell. He is a gift to all of us who can hear him and be mesmerized by his God given talent. He won on Philippines Got Talent, and the first thing he wanted to do was find his Parents. In spite of them NOT being there for him while he was growing up, he wanted to find them which he did and he forgave them for what happened, that is truly a man who has no anger towards another human being in his heart. His wife and child are blessed to have this kind man in their lives, he has stated he is going to be there for his children and is doing just that. he could have been a statistic, but instead he chose the path to success and he has done just that. God Bless this man, his family and all who come in contact with him, we are blessed to have him on this earth and we should appreciate him for what he gives us. Oh and by the way he does this while sitting down, like he is just kicking back at the dinner table with us all.

Yes Marcelito is truly gifted by God with this ability! He is a force to reckon with. Mind you he has NEVER taken any singing lessons and his native language is "Tagalog" and he is singing in English and Italian which makes it even harder! There's no one else like him! He didn't discover his talent until the age of 18. He was an orphan at the age of 7 and living on the streets in the Philippines searching for his family. He used to sing to himself when he was feeling afraid and comfort himself to sleep. He is all grown up now, found his family, got married, and has a child. He is famous but yet he remains, humble, kind, and gentle!

Marcelito's story ~ Marcelito's father was incarcerated and at age 7, his mother abandoned him on the poverty ridden streets of a city in The Phillipines. Marcelito would sing to comfort himself when he was frightened, lonely and confused. To survive, he cleaned chicken coops and he sang to the chickens while he worked. With all of that, he remained kind, gentle and humble. When he sings, there is more than his beautiful voice that we hear. There is something special that touches peoples' hearts. Marcelito sings all genres of music in 6 different languages. Amazingly, he has had absolutely no vocal or musical training and is self taught. You need to check out all of his performances on The Wish Bus as well as Time To Say Goodbye from America's Got Talent, The Champions, his performances at The One Magical Night Concert including Never Enough and other performances of My Heart Will Go On, Despacito and him performing Billie Jean and Heal The World. Marcelito is an activist for children, the poor and the elderly providing homes, food and care. He is an inspiration to many around the world.

I have been keeping up with him for three years now and I just happened to come across your channel and saw that your reaction was recent so I just had to write to you. He is the most amazing singer ever (except for Elvis)...yes, I am that old but Marcelito has not been around for a while. Singing in English /Italian, languages he does not speak. Amazing indeed.
