Shame on the mother of the accused,how can she call the victim characterless.infact, this gives a clear reflection of the mentality. It is not her fault, the problem lies within. Whenever anything happens to a woman, it is always her fault according to society. Like, she must have done something to intrigue men. There is a weird kind of protocol present in our society that is so gender-specific, we are expected to behave exactly that way. Even in cities, we face those problems, no wonder the problem is no deeper in villages. I don't blame the accused families for saying whatever they are saying. We all are part of this toxic system.

A woman is pulling another woman down, just for the sake of protecting her son who has committed this. She has failed to educate her son about respecting women. People need to understand that these rape matters are more important than they think. No woman or a girl ever deserves to suffer through this. When a month old baby is raped, what will the women like the mother of the accused in Naina's case say? What has the little baby girls done, who suffer because of rapes and assaults? Even the police officers are being lathargic and ignorant. Even the female police officer is assaulting a 10 year old victim when she tells her about the unfortunate incident, then what do you expect from a male police officer? people like us have to do something. While abiding with the law, we need to help the women . People need to become vigilant. Only relying on the police officers like these, won't help.

Actually we have a lot of laws that protect women from violence, but the problem is that these laws aren't being implemented. That is mainly due to this victim blaming culture we have in the country.
@samadhansharnangat3 жыл бұрын
We already have lot of laws regarding this matter and also even if we think of making few more laws won't make any difference. Because the one who are going to practice it or execute the proceedings are either under pressure or they don't think it's that worth it. But mostly they are under pressure of high authority. So rather people should think twice thrice before electing a political party which is going to be the high authority and also should educate themselves and change their views regarding women's and stop looking at them as an "OBJECT".😶

Even if a girl is a prostitute or a well respected woman without her consent you can’t do anything to her. “No means no”. If she said ‘no’ that means no. Please future generation of India, educate your sons to respect a female choice and not to harass any woman. If you don’t want it to happen to your female relative then don’t do to others females

I know people will hate me and call me slurs for saying this but what's true is true. I am 22 year old college going woman and not once I felt safe going out of my house even during the daytime. And listening to these horrific tales of how people are reacting and saying that the women is lying about the assault, FIR wasn't lodged because she faked it,her own family belittling her just shows how we are as a society/district/state.
