In the Japanese version all robot's and cyborgs don't bleed red blood, it's white (Likely a replacement for normal blood to carry more O2 or to carry something other than O2). Other than Sam of course since hes still practically human.

actually he didn't get a new eye because that thing covering his eye is actually connected to his optic nerve, allowing him to see things like the HUD and the Codec videos.
