I love this so much I’ve been using it at work. Word of caution though with the pointed head. I left it on my cheek bone too long it feels slightly bruised inside 😅😅 however I should know better as all percussive massagers say to keep off the bone and just focus on muscles. But just be careful with holding the pointy attachment in one spot too long. Beyond that. I love love love this device.

I bought mine as it was first released. I too enjoy the massage feature and it helps de puff around the eyes and help relieve my migraines. The LED ring is good for times I don’t want to pop on a full LED mask, cleansing brush us good, micro current is okay. I bought the hold/cold heads and found the cold head didn’t really get cold and the hot was either not hot or blazing hot. As they were a separate purchase, I returned the hot/cold heads for a refund. As this is a pricey device, I was very disappointed with the flimsy cloth bag it comes with to store it. It was also too small for the device. I bought a padded makeup travel box from Amazon that keeps it protected and the heads organized. Overall, I think it’s great. Don’t bother with the hot/cold heads purchase, buy your own protective storage container, you are in for a treat!

Do you mind elaborating why the microcurrent was okay and not great? currently in the market for such device and theraface seems attractive because of all the other benefits but I think the microcurrent feature is a priority for me

@@anastasiavasilyeva5116 I found that the microcurrent spheres seem too far apart and more difficult to maneuver in the smaller areas of the face. It isn’t as zappy feeling as Nuface, and not as versatile as the Zipp microcurrent device. I do think the Theraface is a great device overall. To be able to combine light and massage therapy is worth it on its own to me to justify the purchase. But I use it primarily in massage mode as it helps the areas I have a skull fracture and relieves tension in my face, and puffiness around the eyes. As mentioned above, the drawbacks are the hold.cold heads (really don’t work) and the ridiculously small cheap storage that comes with the device. Amazon sells various Rownyeon brand cosmetic cases that are much more suitable. I bought the black faux leather quilted case and keep it organized and protected in that.

Hi! Have you considered using Oralift for your jaw pain from clenching? It's a device that's supposed to help with teeth grinding, but also help with eye bags, aging skin and muscle weakness in the face. Would love to see your experience with it if you ever decide to review it. Would trust your opinion.

I have read the instructions and it is written that dental implants should be firmly anchored before using the device. I am wondering what it means. I suppose that a dental implant must be properly placed anyway. I am interested in this device but I am not sure because of my dental implant

Yes I’ve been wearing a night guard /retainer for over 20 years. It’s still painful so this device really helps me. I’ve never had any jaw clicking. That sounds terrible. I’m glad you were able to solve that

I'm looking to buy a micro current devise. I like the style of this and that it doesnt need an app to use, and its charging system seems good. I've omitted the foreo bear because I dont like the button. (those rubber buttons break fast for me.) Between the nuface mini and this devise what one do you think works best overall -- , no app needed, charging ease and built well. Thanks for your help. .

Great review! I had seen Pen Smith say that the micro current was a bit weak. How does that feature compare to the ziips instant gratification mode. I had the ziip but it malfunctioned so trying to decide between the theraface or try the ziip again. I like to feel it when I do micro current. I also have tight jaw and sinus issues. Thanks again!

Thanks! You should not feel microcurrent if you’re using it properly. If you feel it twitching your muscles, it means it’s depleting ATP. In my video, I could feel it in my teeth because that’s standard for microcurrent. I’m not sure how it compares to the ziip’s instant gratification mode because I’m not familiar with that mode. Maybe you can look up the microamps of the ZIIP routines online or in the app and compare it to the microamps of this device. I do know that the Theraface has more microamps than the ZIIP. At 500 microamps, this is the strongest at-home device that I have.

I own this tool, imo it’s an overpriced toy and the uses are limited and the documentation is misleading or lacking. For example they say not to use blue light with the percussive instrument because it might spread acne. But they say you can use the massage with red and infrared light. That makes NO sense, because you would be spreading acne around with all 3, the only difference is that the blue light should be killing the acne. Then they provide 0 scientific documentation on how the LED light actually works, we don’t know how they create the proper wavelengths, the strength of the light, etc. Totally overpriced toy
